Let me start by saying whoaaaaaah !! What a great trip it was to Disney. Me and my roomie from Richmond, VA visited Orlando for Disney and Seaworld from May 14-May16.
These are our per expenses for the 3 day trip. We are budget travellors like thousands of u out there and the below will give u an idea of how we managed to have maximum fun at a very reasonable price.
Expenses (per person)
---------------------------
Amtrak roundtrip tickets - $70 (This price will beat any airline price)
Disney 2 day 4 park hopper tickets - $130 (including Pleasure Island) The original price of these tickets is about $200. We bought them from Ebay
Seaworld ticket - $60 (We are entertainment.com members and I just showed my entertainment membership card and we got $5 off, it is tough to get discounts on this one)
Rental car from enterprise for the weekend (including gas) - $25
(Enterprise has $9.99 per day weekend specials
)
Hotel 3 nights at Howard Johnson, Kissimmee - $50
(This hotel was very decent with continental breakfast. Booked from expedia)
Breakfast Cookies, chips, sun screens, cap - $25
(This helped us to budget our food expenses in theme parks)
3-day Lunch At the theme parks - $40
(Ok, you can't cut on this one no matter what.)
3-day Fruit juice, ice creams, water at the theme parks - $25
(This is a neccesity)
Souvenirs - $20
3-day Parking at Theme parks - $15
(This was a neccesity)
Misc expenses (Tips, Amtrak dinners) - $40
(This was a neccesity. Can't cut on this)
Totals - $500
I hope it helps
