If you are good with EE, then I think you are good with RNR. I think EE is more intense, faster with more big drops. I know my DW wigs out with the open high climb at the beginning of EE. No such issues at RNR. Just great fun. You'll have a blast!
RnR has an actual inverted loop. I love them both, but do better nearer the front on RnR, as I find the back a little rougher on head and neck. Never any problem with that when I sit more than half-way forward. GREAT RIDE!!!
I have never ridden either yet but as a coaster person I think you should see the stats first and then make your own decision...

My neck hurt fairly bad after RnR. I love Everest, it is my favorite. But I probably won't ever ride RnR again.
However, I think my neck issue was because I had a ponytail and could not put my head totally back on the headrest. You really have to press your head into the headrest to avoid being jerked.
EE seemed calmer to me. But that is just my observation. I am interested to hear what people have to say on this one.
I think you will do fine with R&R if you can do EE. I think I am in the minority here, but I think it is a reasonably smooth coaster. That along with the fact that it is in the dark so you do not have the anticipation and the anxiety of the drops makes it easier for me to enjoy the ride. Have Fun!!
I agree with a PP, if you push your head into the headrest on RNR, you'll be fine. That advice was given to me before I rode the first time, and I was glad I listened! They're both fun rides.
I hated RR the minute it started, and EE is my favorite. I had a headache for the rest of the day and wished I had never rode it. I guess it just depends. I am just getting older, that's my problem. I used to ride TOT several times in a row and now I can't set foot on it. I can ride EE once w/o feeling sick. I love the Yeti!!
Actually I find EE to be worse than RnRRC. I can ride RnRRC with no ill effects but the backwards part of EE sometimes just hits me wrong and I just feel "off" the rest of the day.
RNR is literally the smoothest roller coaster I have ever been on. If you don't like it once you are on it, you can always close your eyes. I bet though, if you like EE, you will love RNR!
Whenever we have a newbie with us I try to get them to ride RnRc first. Then I tell them if you can handle that you can handle anything at WDW. I like EE but I don't find it very intense.
I'm a pretty big chicken and had avoided both rides until our trip last year.
Now I'm a fan--they're different but fun.
RnR is really fast but super smooth. The inversions are not that bad because the whole ride is so smooth. The take off is just amazing.
I felt a bit queasy after EE because of the backwards part, and as someone else said, the height there is a bit scary. RnR has no similar height issues because it's dark when you're in there. Also, it's a short ride. It's over almost before you realize it.
I went on Rock and Rooll yesterday and loved it. Was a little spooked the first time, but then went on a few more times. I thought it was great and a very smooth ride!!
I love them both, but RNRC is my favorite. I LOVE the take-off.
I've never had an issue with my neck hurting after RNRC, but I agree you need to be sure you keep your head back against the head-rest. The first time I rode EE, my neck hurt when I got off and I could barely turn my head for the rest of the day. I haven't had any trouble the other times, but that first time, it really jerked me around. But it's a great ride!
RcknRC is my favorite ride at WDW! I love Everest, but I love the take-off on RcknRC. As mentioned before, make sure that you have your head all the way back against the head rest before you take off. I made this mistake once and had a very soar neck for the rest of the day. I find RcknRC to be more intense than everest, personally. Maybe its the dark and the music that make it feel that way. It is a fairly smooth coaster. So long as you can handle going upside down you should be fine if you were fine on Everest. I would highly recommend this ride.
