Expedition Everest

I just saw this on Allears. IF anyone is a DVC member who would be willing to let DH go as a guest............. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PM me. He REALLY wants to ride it!!!!!! We arrive on the 29th, so that is the last day of the event, but he'd really LOVE to do it! I appreciate it so much!!!!!

Members are invited to take a sneak "peak" at Expedition Everest — Legend of the Forbidden Mountain™ Jan. 26-29, 2006, at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. The new thrill attraction, opening officially in April, sends Guests on a high-speed train adventure into the Himalayas for a face-to-muzzle encounter with the legendary Yeti. Each Member who presents his/her Disney Vacation Club Member ID during the sneak "peak" event may enjoy this preview with as many as three Guests. As an added bonus, you and your Guests will each receive a complimentary Expedition Everest lanyard and pin (limit one set per person during the four-day event). Disney's FASTPASS® service will be also be available during the preview. (December 13, 2005)

All signs point to a spring 2006 opening. Cast Members for the opening team have been selected. They report in early January to Expedition Everest. The trains have been running with tracks for testing.

I will be there that week. Pretty cool. We got to d the Vac Club preview for Stitch 2 years ago, now Everest.

I just hope Everest isn't as dissapointing as Stitch was.

Hey - I hate to just jump on someone else's post (I'm sorry WendyPooh) - but if there's a pair of DVC members who are going to be there on Sat, Jan 28th - DS10 & I would LOVE to get a chance to ride EE!!!

We'll be celebrating Birthdays for DW & DD-soon-to-be-4 - so if I could get something special for DS to remember this trip, that would be great as well!

My family and I (DVC members) are planning to be at AK on Sunday the 29th. We have a little one DS3 so we will have to split our ride. We could accomodate 2 with DH and probably 2 with me, unless I chicken out.

From what I've read, it is for DVC Members ONLY!!! They are however allowed to have 3 guest. I have no other info at all, and what I got is from allears.
