Does anyone know when Espedition Everest is opening?

Nobody (outside of the company) knows exactly when the attraction will open. However I can tell you that it will be open no later than late April 2006. Its grand opening will most likely be around the end of April. Soft openings and guest previews should begin about 2 months before that.

Soft opening in Feb. the 3-6th to be exact would be nice as this is when I will be there!

They are already running the test trains -- it can't be too far away.

I saw unloaded test trains running on Friday. A couple of "important types" - you know in suits with name badges and lanyards were headed over that way discussing the ride. I didn't want to be too obvious and eavesdrop, but I realloy wanted to jump up and down and say "take me, take me."

I guess I'll have to wait for my next trip. Looks really, really cool.

I am guessing late March early April.....as long as it's open in May when DH and I go!

To update by ealier post an official date is now known. As it stands now E:E will officialy open on April 7, 2006. It is likely that soft openings and guest previews will begin about 2 months before that.
