official opening will be earth day 2006, but soft openings will be in march, with AP previews right after presidents day.

Officially it is set to open in Spring of 2006. They usually have a soft opening (meaning it is still in a test and adjust mode, so it may be open, but it is not guaranteed to be and they can close it at anytime to adjust things) about a month or two prior to the official date.

Noo! We're going the 1st week of Feb and I was hoping for the soft openings to start then. Then our next trip is in November 2006.. I can't wait that long to ride EE!! Darnit. Oh well. Until November!

I know what you mean, were going the second week of Feb and Im hoping that there are some test runs going when we are there. Did that for test track when it first opened.
