I took 3 friends to AK for the Castmember preview for Expedition Everest.
The preshow was very good, altho there are alot of brass bells, and the kids felt inclined to ring them alot.
I don't do coaster's, but my friends do and they said it was Awesome.
Annual Passholder preview is next weekend so watch for soft openings.

Thanks for posting.

I'm looking for even MORE "in-person" CM reports about EE.

We'll be there next weekend!

Please give more detail about the preshow. We did the fast pass, and the fast pass line by-passed any type of preshow.

Where were these brass bells??

If I go to the AP preview, will I be able to take a friend?

This was specifically addressed.
One rider per AP, the AP owner only.

DVC members, however, can take up to 4 guests (as I recall).

Theres a preshow? I was under the impression that there was no preshow. What's it about? Is it like other preshows such as Test Track or Rockin Roller Coaster? Or is it just a line such as in Kali?

I guess I think of pre show's of the way they decorate the que line.
There were brass bells hanging everywhere, and it looked like a Sherpa village At least the one I saw once on a Everest special. They even had tea growing along the way. I was impressed.

so what if dh and i are ap holders but our children 6 and 8 arent....does that mean that they cant ride with us ??

Sadly, they cannot.

you know what that is unbelievable!!!.... :sad2:

It does stink.

I'm appreciative that they're allowing AP holders (such as myself) to ride early, but really - Who wants to ride alone? They should allow 1 guest per AP holder.

I'm not "riding alone".

I'm riding with my DW, who is also an AP holder.

(And about 20,000 other AP holders, I'm sure.)

Not all people going are AP Holders. My friend for example, is not.

I have a funny feeling, not every single AP holder will be there next weekend.

We can only HOPE not all will show up!

the last 2 AP previews were Stitch and Soarin', and there were no lines for either. I think we did Soarin' 5 or 6 times. Can't wait for this weekend to come. :)

We did it Saturday and took friends along .... we were there when the park opened and immediately went to EE and walked right on, then got back in line and maybe waited two minutes. The line moves quickly ... it seems to load and unload fast and the ride isn't very long. It is, however, fantastic. I personally think it's the best attraction in all of Disney World!!! So, if you are there first thing, you shouldn't have any trouble riding it at least 2 or 3 times before the lines are long. We entered by walking past Tarzan Rocks ... it seems shorter than going through Asia.
