I have heard that the new popular roller coaster has done a great job with reducing super long times by having multiple carts run at once. I was wondering what the average wiat time for this coaster is during a weekday?

It largely depends on the time of day. If you get to the park at opening and head right for EE, you'll do fine. Midday, plan on a long wait. 5:30-6pm shorter wait than mid-day and perhaps closer to the am wait time as the park closes at 6pm.

We had a 50 minute wait on April 30 around 10:30am(and got a fastpass 3:15-4:15, and a 30 minute wait on May 5 around 3:30pm. AK closed at 5:00pm on both days.

When we were at AK (hey-also April 30th!). The line was 65 minutes at 11:30 and FP times were for closing. The lesson? Want Everest? Go first or get a FP early. Really, the safari, Kali and Everest are all not-too-far apart at the back of the park. I recommend going straight to the park and doing the big 3 first thing then back tracking and doing the more quite attractions later in the day. Dinoland USA was absolutely crazy when we were there but not character lines, Pocahontas, Planet Watch or the animal trails.

Friday afternoon 50 minutes wait time.

We were there last week and the longest time we saw the wait was only about 40 min. Keep in mind, we were only at AK for 2 1/2 days though...
We waited in a 30 min line, and it honestly didn't feel like it. There is so much to look at in the ride line that the time seemed to go much faster.
One really neat thing...they have a separate line (which is fairly short, 5 min extra..) if you want to wait and ride in the front. Normally, I don't have a preference....but I HIGHLY recommend riding in the front at least once on this one...well worth it IMO.

what do you mean a seperate line to ride in the front like at the beginning you choose or when you get to all ride spots.

Right before boarding when they are asking "how many" in your party, you can request to ride in the front and they put you in a queue off to the side. Everytime they start to pull people to load the next train, they pull the next 2 from that line to ride in the front. We did this twice and only waited an additional 3 or 4 trains. Also, both times, we were with my sis, mom and kid. We asked if we could wait for the first 3 rows so we could all sit together and they let us all wait together w/out any problems. :)

I always saw signs saying that the wait was somewhere between 60-110 minutes.
I used or Fastpass, or the single riders line, which moved very quickly!!!

Where is the single riders line entrance? My DW and I will be going with DD who is terribly afraid of all rides that have any speed or height to it so I will have to ride alone. It would be nice to be able to get in the single riders line to speed up the process.

TIA!

We were just there last week. I definately recommend the single rider line. It starts just to the right of the fastpass entrance. You just have to jump in and tell the CM you are single rider and they will give you a single rider ticket. I waited only about 10 minutes *and* I got to ride up front! The view from up front is unbelievable! My ds and dh waited in the standby line and were there for 60-70 min. on a Monday around noon.

We were there saturday and people were practically just walking on the ride one the single rider line.....I was waiting in the parent swap section and saw people walk by (not knowing it was the single rider line, this lady hands them a ticket and the within minutes you can see those same people coming out of the gift shop and go back on the ride. I saw these three kids go on the ride 3 or 4 times within 10minutes time.... While the standby line said 60 minutes.

DH and I were there last week....the wait when we went was about 70 minutes stand by....

When we were there in April, the wait was 90 mintues at 3 pm. We learned from a cm that they did not hand out fast passes for the times b/t 4:00 and 5:00 to allow the stand by line time to thin out a bit.
