If you ever get the chance to ride EE and sit in the front row, you are in for a treat. I got the chance last week while in the single riders line. The view when the ride stops (don't think I'm giving anything away here) is fantastic. Didn't have enough time to take it all in, but do remember the Swan and Dolphin, and EPCOT. It seemed like you could see forever. Anyone have a picture from up there???:thumbsup2

That sounds very cool!

:cheer2: YEA for you! I don't know - the front seat sounds scarey!!! We actually were in the LAST SEAT in November. Still too new for me to know if there was any difference - we were in the middle the first time.

I really enjoy EE and of course see more interesting things each time we ride.

my dh and oldest son got the front row when we went the first week of April, my mom and I had to sit in the 2nd row.

Is EE much different from Big Thunder Moutain. I can handel that, but not much more intense. For instance, I can't go on Rock and Roller Coaster. I have high blood pressure and have to watch on it affects me.

If it is not much more then BTM, I would like to try it.

Thanks.

I try to get the front row at least once a trip. The view from there is AMAZING!!

It does not go upside down or have a take off like RnR but it does go backwards for a bit and in the dark a bit. It is a little more intense than BTMRR but not as intense as RnR. My son loved BTMRR and EE, but cried and hated RnR. JMO and experience. :)

Well I for one always wonder what gets people excited about BTMR which to me is really just a mini mine train. I enjoy it but I don't see how it would frighten most folks. (Unless of course they don't LIKE these type of rides in which case it's perfectly understandable!)

However I consider EE to be quite a bit more extreme than BTMR. A couple of good drops, higher speed throughout including high g forces in the turns, direction changes and partly in the dark. To me it makes BTMR seem like a kid's ride. Again, like BTMR, nothing wrong with it at all, just that EE is a serious thriller to me.

If you can, ride EE in the front, back and middle as it will give you different experiences more so than regular rollercoasters.

ToT and EE are just mind blowing to me. I hope they make lots more like these. :woohoo:

EE actually maintains separate lines for both front and back row. you may have to wait for them depending on how many are before you, but just ask the CM as you reach the queue outside.

if you can disregard the dirt on my sensor..

I love the condor that floats above you when you reach where the tracks are torn up and how it rises and falls.

Great pics.

Ride the middle for a less intense ride and do not ride the last car unless you like being thrown around

but let's not forget.. at one point, the back becomes the front

After riding this ride 15 times I personally prefer the back because I like a more intense ride. I have been in the 2nd row but not the front row before (took pictures from up there too and the view is just AWESOME) As with most Disney rides its a different experience depending on if you are in the front, the middle or the back. And I definately think this ride is more intense than BTMR but like BTMR the front and middle of the train seem to go slower over the up and down parts and then speeds up when the back catches up (that is why I LOVE the back!!) Can't wait for another 19 days to ride this ride at least another 3 -5 times!!

We've ridden in the front row a few times, but we prefer the back because you get to see more of the yeti from there.:goodvibes

This is true, and the back row also gives you a drop more speed.

But in general, if it's your first time riding, I would recommend the front because the view is unbeatable. :thumbsup2

I'll have to try and get the front row next time we are there.

BTW, nice pix Brad:thumbsup2

Ok, I went on this ride 20 times my last visit, is the vulture fake and part of the ride? Or is that a real bird?

If it's part of the ride, I had my eyes closed way too much! (I'm scared of heights :scared1: )
