Expedition Everest Previews!

What about those who are renting from a DVC member? I know we dont have a DVC card, but what if we showed we are staying at a DVC property? Do you think they may feel sorry for us and let my hubby ride? He is a big TT fan and is so sad it will be closed when we are there 1/21 - 1/28. :wizard:

The offical line is you have to have the member card... I don't know if the room key will work, but you can always try!

What usually happens to rides the last couple of weeks before they officially open? We will be there March 20 - 24, and I was hoping it would be open then. Now, I'm afraid there is no chance.

There is a VERY good chance you will get to ride. The ride officialy opens just a bit over 2 weeks after your trip. And your trip is about 2 months after DVC previews. Thus you will be going right in the middle of guest testing. What made you think there was no chance?

I read somewhere that sometimes new rides will close the last week or two prior to their "Grand Opening".

Sometimes new rides will close before their grand opening but only a few days to a weak before. You will be there over 2 weeks before the grand opening. You won't have any problems and will be able to enjoy a ride on E:E.

Great news! We don't have Annual Passes either, so I hope that won't be a problem. I know we'll have a great time regardless, but what a treat it would be to ride EE!

I got a good pic of the coaster while they were testing it on 12/12/05. I believe one coaster had some white dummies inside of one of the trains although i did not get a picture of them as the DW was telling me to "stop taking pictures of that darn rollercoaster that's not even open. It's too darn cold to stand here any longer." :rotfl2: Pic of some of my trip will be posted up soon.

I am crossing my fingers and toes hoping that we will be able to ride in early feb when we go. I'm an AP holder so I hope this will maybe help my chances??? All I know is that I want to ride that flippin coaster :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:
