DVC and AP member, staying at BWV 2/16-2/24, no email

I'm in the minority here, but I won't be happy if Everest is open to everyone this weekend. Alot of us AP holders and DVC members made special arrangements to be there, and were hoping for shorter lines because of this "perk". Now, it seems as though everyone is invited?

Yeah, I 'm a passholder too! I was bummed that we already booked our trip for FEB 3-11, due to the BRP, and we were going to miss the AP preview by one flippin weekend . Then they did away w/ BRP and I was irked because I could've changed my dates if I hadn't already booked airfare !!! But now I 'm happy again because we could get to ride EE while we are there! Yippee!

Ok I say lets try to narrow this down. For all of you who recieved that e-mail reply with the following information.

Did you recieve an e-mail?
Which resort are you staying at?
Which dates are you going to be at WDW?
Are you an AP or DVC member?
Did you book directly with disney or through a travel agency?
Any other info that you think would be helpful to narrow this myster of EE.

I really want to ride. I'm going Feb. 23-28 and haven't recieved any type of e-mail about this and I am willing to do just about anything to ride this amazing ride!!

We are staying at POFQ Feb 3-11
I am an AP holder
I booked via the WDW website using the BRP
Booked room only

Like Mariposa said, I am sure it is a soft opening for all and if you needed a special invatation the email would've stated so. If it is only for WDW resort/hotel guests then wouldn't your room key be enough? All I know is that we will be heading straight for AK when we get there next Friday!

ETA - I just thought of something We receive 3 different "types" of email from WDW right now. I get one about AP info and events and prices and stuff, and another about our current reservation (which state nothing about AP) and my BF gets another advertising WDW (since he booked our previous trips but not our current). The email about the EE preview stated nothing about the AP preview, it was jsut directed at guests stayng at the WDW resort. Don't know wy this matters but it could help somone. anyone?

I get emails all of the time (general, AP, DVC), but not this time.
(missing the AP and DVC sneak preview by a couple of days, so hoping I'll still get to take a peak.)

Same here! Booked months ago with BRP but if we had known sooner about AP preview would have chosen that week! We're heading on down Feb. 4-11 so just crossing my fingers!

Also, those who didn't get the email, maybe Disney doesn't have your email registered or an old one or wrong one?? I'd call and confirm your email is correctly registered.

I rec'd an email today!!!!
I am staying at GF feb 9-15th and AKL feb15-21st
I am not AP or DVC member
I booked directly with WDW travel (unfortunately) and I have AAA and a room only reservation for both places

13 days until we leave!!!! Can't wait to ride EE!!!!!!!

I did not book a package, just a room using BRP.

And I never get AP emails, even though DH and I have both emails registered on AP site!

That wouldn't be the case for us. We just got the AP notice about BRP ending (3 different email accounts because we have 3 AP holders) and we also received an email when the rates dropped for the BRP for early Feb. telling me my rate dropped from $59 to $49 a night. So Disney has our email addresses. Just didn't get one this time, or maybe they are going out in batches and they just are not done yet. I have been checking throughout the day.

Ok..so only people staying at Disney during that week get to ride? Here is what I am doing:

Will be at WDW March 9-13th..staying at Poly.
I am a DVC Member, but did not use my points because we booked the trip prior to becoming members.
I have a room only ressie...going down for the Cheer Competition and already have tickets. Do you think we will get to ride?? I sure hope soo...I guess I will keep checking back!!
