Expedition Everest Challenge - Crowd That Weekend

Was trying to plan an impromptu Anniversary trip for my Husband & I and realized this is the same time as the Expedition Everest Challenge weekend.

Should I be concerned about the crowds? It doesn't appear that this marathon draws a lot of folks, but first time traveling during this time since our original honeymoon - 23 years ago

It's not a marathon--it's just a 5K with a scavenger hunt. It's the last one, so it will probably be popular. However, I wouldn't expect it to have any real impact on overall crowds.
