I just had a mental image of hair band members sitting all over the mountain. Silly.

On a particular ski lift at one of the resorts in Tahoe is a tree about half way up the mountain where women (or men I don't know) have thrown their bras. About 40 feet up there are dozens of them. The bands on EE don't offend me one bit and I actually think it adds to the ride. Sort of a guest interactive experience, or at the very least something harmless to chuckle at.

Not the Sneaker Tree but I know the lake at one of the CP housing units (the commons I think) is full of old work shoes from CPs who throw their old worn out shoes in on their last night.

The same thing happens every year at Kings Island on the Beast. It gets annoying to see by the end of the season.

Yetis don't find hair bands edible. It's sort of like how we remove the twist-tie from the bag around a loaf of bread.

I once accidentally swallowed a twist-tie. It was just as painful as you might imagine but I live to tell the tale and while I would like to think myself tougher than a Yeti, that's probably not the case.
But, yeah, the hair ties are such an eyesore.

A long time ago (I think it was the year my son turned 5, and he'll be 18 soon), we did a fireworks cruise and our captain took us out by the Sneaker Tree before the show.

RnR plays Aerosmith.

EE shoul definitely do similar and play a selection of mid-late '80s Hair metal!

Who needed Pearl Jam or Nirvana when we already had Motley Crue and Bon Jovi!

The theory is it signifies the leaving behind of a girl's Pony/Pig Tails and the entry into womanhood.

That always comes up,but the general consensus is always Urban Legend.
