Expedia - WDW lower room rates between July and August 2014

There's a few discounted room only rates on Expedia.co.uk between July and August at some of the WDW resorts and here's one example for 14-nights checking into a standard room at the All-Star Music on Sat 9th August 2014 for as low as £714.68, less 12% through Quidco so about £630 and at £45 per night with free transport such as Magical Express or free theme park parking (which cost $17 per day if staying off site), then that's a great budget price. The current price on WDTC-UK is £1,232.

Another example checking in on Sat 2nd Aug 2014 for 14-nights in a standard room at Animal Kingdom Lodge for £1,783.88 less 12% through Quidco so about £1,570.

The current price on the UK Walt Disney Travel Company site for the same dates is £3,542, so for those who missed out on last years free dining offer then this current room offer of almost £2,000 less with Expedia/Quidco certainly pays for a lot of meals.......

Note: For those same two weeks in 2015 with WDTC it's £3,332 and with that you can get free dining worth £1,176 for two adults with the purchase of park tickets and a $200 gift card.......

I wonder if they would get away with calling it free DDP in the UK if they were a UK based company?
Go back a few years when we got free DDP with starter & tips or even when they were removed and we got a night at OKW for 4 people for £80/nt incl DDP then it was a genuine free DDP offer but the deal is so thin now it must be bordering on mis-selling.

Great spot on the Expedia prices. Far better if like us you prefer offsite dining or not being tied to the DDP package.
