Expedia Park Hopper tickets

Hi all,

I purchased a 3 day Hopper from Expedia. I had to put in my travel dates (Jan 15-18). My confirmation arrived with the dates Jan 14-16, stating the vouchers could ONLY be used during those dates.

Does that mean I can redeem the voucher during those dates or that the tickets are ONLY good during those dates? I thought DL tickets are good for 13 days after first use.

I immediately called Expedia--waited over 30 min only to be told their system was being upgraded and I would have to call back in an hour. This was midnight already. So, now I'm on the phone with them again for almost 30 min and the rep doesn't know the answer. He keeps trying to get a supervisor, but I bet you guys are faster!

Don't panic. I'm sure those are just the dates that your tickets will be in Disney's system, giving them the ability to redeem your voucher. Your actual tickets will be good for 13 days after first use.

Calling any large third party seller (Expedia, Orbitz) for info on Disney tickets is worthless, they are completely clueless.

We bought our tickets from Flight Centre - you do have to give them a start date - because they have to make sure they sell you a ticket that is effective during that time - as ticket pricing does expire. On the invoice I received though it does state that the tickets can be used up till 90 days after this effective date and that they are 100% fully refundable if they are not used during that time. Of course once you activate a ticket at the gate and enter for your first day, then you do only have 13 days to complete all the days on the ticket. I cannot see how Expedia could impose additional restrictions as once the ticket is activated then it's up to Disney to monitor those 13 days not them.
