Just a quick query regarding the Expedia Flight/Car offer. It appears to be very good value for Virgin flights. My question is regarding the car rental. Am I likely to get stung for any extras when I pick it up?

Thanks.

Probably.

its always best and cheaper to pay for all the upgrades and insurances in the UK. I would also recommend you paying the £10 per week or so for extra drivers and a tank of petrol. They really sting you for the petrol.

Also if you have the all inclusive options you don't usually have to leave a $1000 -$1500 credit card imprint with them.

I used Expedia this last trip for flight and all inclusive car. The only "extra" paymeny I had was for the tank of that they provide ($35). I had the option to return the tank full for no charge, unfortunately I couldn't find a gas station on my route from South Beach and couldn't be bothered to drive around and find one. Had I put $20 worth of petrol that was required to fill the tank up that charge would have been waived.

I did leave a credit card imprint to cover any "incidentals" but, in the end, the petrol was all that was put on it.
