Expedia airfare deal

I was checking flights for a trip in October, and after putting in the dates a bar populates that states "Book this flight with your hotel, get 100% off your flights".

I'm not sure if it is only for select dates, but I though maybe someone here could use the deal.

It seems to be for Spirit airlines

Maybe it depends on the specific departure city. I can only get this to work with Spirit out of New Orleans

So 100% off then all flights are free???

Yes, I picked flights only, then at the top of the available flights, the one spirit flight had a little box around it with the banner about the 100% off. good selection of hotels available when you select that one flight.

In the scenario I ran, 7 nights with 'free' air at Port Orleans Riverside was $2018. I then did hotel only, and 7 nights at the same hotel for the same dates was $1507. So my 'free' air cost $513.

Well, I tried to get this deal and for some reason there are no discounts coming off. I am on hold with Expedia right now to ask why and all I have been told is the offer is not valid. hmmm....
