I didn't know that PCH doesn't serve lunch and I asked DH to call to make a PS (thank you, AT&T, for the dead zone within 1/2 mile of my house). He panicked and made a 11:00 a.m. breakfast PS. Since the main point of eating there is the Kitchen Sink ... well, I am wondering if anyone has been able to order ice cream at breakfast? :lmao:

I will have to switch some things around, otherwise, which is ok but trying to spare poor, valiant DH from another call.

They have an al a carte menu at breakfast, I would imagine you could. But I have never seen it myself.

It's not on the breakfast menu, of course, so might be up to the discretion of the server and/or kitchen help ... if someone ever received a sundae during breakfast hours though, it might give a hint as to how open they are to the idea!

Now, I am thinking we might keep the PS anyway and return later for a Kitchen Sink. My kids have new matching adorable Stitch shirts that are begging to appear in a pic with the actual Stitch ... how is that for rationalization? :rotfl:

I am almost ashamed to ask this, considering myself a DL expert and all.... but what exactly is PCH and the Kitchen Sink?! If it has to do with ice cream, I'm all over that!!!

It's very similar to a sundae of the same name that is offered at the Beach Club in WDW at Beaches and Cream.

Takes a lot of hungry people to down that bad boy! :scared1:

OMG! I have always wanted to try this in WDW but we are a family of 3 and it just seems insane to try it. But our next trip to DL in June there will be 6 of us! This is perfect. Let the gluttony begin!

Thank you so much for the reply! I was trying to figure out the acronym, lol... and it's actually it's name! I think this is a good goal for my birthday trip in June! :)

What all do they put on it? I can see cherries, chocolate bars...

Ok- I don't want to be the party pooper on this but I can't see sharing a dessert w/ six people & six seperate cooties!!!! :scared1: I can share with my kids(& DH)...it's a mom's job.....but I only have 2!

I would think they would be able to provide extra bowls/spoons so each person could scoop out their share and eat from their own plate.

11:00 is almost lunch, especially if you're up by 6 or 7, so I would hope they would serve you the ice cream. I know when we were at Goofy's Kitchen for breakfast, they had the ice cream machine up and running, so ice cream in the morning at DL isn't unheard of.

exactly. I wouldn't dig in with everyone over and over! That is silly. Of course you'd dish it up into seperate dishes and eat from there, then refill as needed. :)

Well, technically it is an acronym ,even if it is the restaurant's name! PCH- Pacific Coast Highway :)
