Exotic Rasul

We did it in May- paid for one person, booked one person for $89 and we both showed up. We were both expected. I would assume the tip is for the cleaning and set up, she escorted us to locker room and showed us around, provided robes and explained the washes and scrubs she had already set up in the room(and towels.) We did not get champagne as older posts have said. That would have been awesome. We did really enjoy it.

Sailing on the Magic and booked some kid-free time! Several have reported being able to relax briefly in the Rainforest Room afterward, some even mentioned champagne....reports seem to be all over the place. :confused3 Are you able to visit the RR after?

I have done this on both the Magic and the Wonder. We never got champagne. We were invited to wait in the Rainforest Room after getting changed while they were getting the room ready for us, but it was never suggested that we could head in there once we were done.

We did Exotic Rasul on our cruise. It was very nice. There was no champagne just lemon water. They forgot about us so we were in there a long time. We were saunafied lol. It was listed as just me on the reservation but said for couples so I expected to pay double but it was just 105.00 including tax and tip.

:hyper: I have had champagne with it and the rainforest room before and after on the Magic.

I am doing the experience twice on my upcoming 4 day cruise because I like it so much and it gives you the rainforest room too.

I will let everyone know if champagne still comes with it.

I have only done this on the Magic and the Wonder, is it different, or even offered on the Dream and Fantasy? I sail on the Dream next month and am considereing booking this.

I don't think the Dream or Fantasy have an Exotic Rasul room on board. Sorry!

Bummer. Its the only spa service that I thought was worth the money. And my husband always really looked forward to it. :confused3

The Dream nor the Fantasy have the Exotic Rasul. They do have a fantastic Rainforest Room.

We are headed for our third cruise this summer on the Wonder and looking forward to the Exotic Rasul. I have told DH all that I have read about it. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Is the Rasul only on the Wonder now? I see it is not listed under services on the Magic.

We were on the Magic in December and we were shown the Rassoul room on the spa tour so it definitely is still there.

Wow I guess I am in the minority. DH and I did the Rasul but I did not care for it and he hated it. Go figure :confused3 I would not do this again. I have also had a pedicure on the Magic and didn't care for that either. I have had better pedicures at 1/3 of the price. We haven't found a spa service that we have liked yet. Maybe I will try something in April.

I think your enjoyment of the rasul is completely what you put into it. If you like a private tiled room where you aren't disturbed and encouraged (by way of the salts etc) to touch your partner, then you might like it. The floor and the bench are very hard though! ;)

Could someone tell me what is in this room? I am having trouble picturing it.

It is sort of like a cave. The first room has a "cleaning shower" a bench (tile), and a table with towels. There is another small table with salts, lotions, and clay mask stuff.

There is a glass dividing door and that leads to the second room which is a sauna room. There are three little alcoves which have a jets. In each alcove there is a seat and two jets on each side shoot sideways and there is a shower head above the seat. In the center of the room is a cluster of sinks. The steam seems to come from the feet of this.

All surfaces are covered in tile hence the cave like feeling to me.

We enjoyed the experience very much.

So I just booked this and it shows $89 per adult. Is that correct or is it $89 per couple? :confused3

I selected my Dh and I as well. Honestly it is not something that would be done as a single. At least I can't see how that would really work out. I guess you could if you really wanted to but anyways they knew it was both of us but just one charge.
