Existing BWV reservation, considering selling full reservation, not sure best way to do this...

I've found the board. I had to go out and google to find it :)

Many thanks Marionette for the clear and fast reply. That's great to know how that works.
The reservation was for late xxxx - removed details.
Just to clarify, I have to use the 2020 banked points for a vacation before 1 Dec 2022 or else try and rent them out.

Just wondering how well that works with trying to rent out a reservation on DVC request. I probably would be happy with less than the asking price of $21 per point that they have for similar reservations. Actually would be happy with any amount to get this out of my headspace!! I'd be interested to hear from anyone who's rented their reservation. I don't think I'm wanting to attempt to do that via those facebook groups.
Yes. The 2020 points which were banked into the current UY must be used for a reservation that ends no later than 12/01/2022.

Selling a confirmed reservation can be hit or miss. Popular resorts during popular times such as CCV during the Christmas period or BVC and BWV during Food & Wine do quite well. SSR during August is a tough sell. The real problem is finding a renter who wants your exact dates.

I removed details of the resort and timeframe as that is not allowed.

The price you see listed is not what a broker would pay you for the trip. It is what a renter would pay them.

Not sure exactly what it is as different brokers have different rules. Due to the limit in availability between now and end of November , it might be tough to do anything except try to rent it out as a confirmed.

I rented out three confirmed reservations for July in a matter of days using Davids. It was easy. I listed them back in January/February time frame though. I’m not sure with the tight timeframe if you will have luck, but I definitely think it’s worth trying. I had much better luck renting my confirmed reservation than trying to rent out points. I had my points listed both ways. Another option would be to move your confirmed reservation to further away if you can find availability.
