Just in case any of you are planning trips to Lowes, Home Depot, WalMart, or Linens and Things in the near future, just drop my name and you'll get instant VIP status. I was counting last night, and we have been to Lowes 12 times, Home Depot 8 times, WalMart 8 times, and Linens and Things 5 times in FOUR WEEKS since we closed on our house. I was under the impression that a new house wouldn't need as much stuff, and BOY, was I wrong. So you can imagine what kind of cash we've laid out to these people as well.
So, feel free..when you enter the store, say, "I know the Moores." A special clerk in a red vest will come get you in a little golf cart, close the store to other customers, get you a glass of Moet, and girls in gold bikinis will carry your merchandise for you to the VIP room in the back where you can peruse it to your hearts' content.
P.S. If anyone wants to come lay insulation and nail down 3/4" plywood decking in our bonus room tomorrow, come on over...If I have to swing a hammer one more time, it will be at my own head so I can at least get out of working.
