I noticed something yesterday while working out on the ellipictal. I have been using it for about a week now, and I could go for about 15 mins and then my legs would just "give out". To the point whrere I could not even stand on them.
Yesterday, I took a bottle of water with me and put it in the cup holder on the machine. When I felt my legs getting "weak" about every 10 mins or so, I would guzzle some.
I truely believe that doing this really enabled me to "push" myself, I was able to stay on that machine over 30 mins. This is double what I have been able to do. I think the reason my legs were getting so "weak" was because I would get dehydrated and the water gave me that instant "boost".
I realize that this might be obvious to most..but I have never had any formal workout training (ie..trainer). I am learning this stuff as I go, through trial, error, and WISH. I figured if I could help one other person..I would pass it on!

How much water do you drink before you work out? I usually have hot tea in the morning with breakfast and don't really drink water until lunch, but I have noticed that I get fatigued when I rollerblade in the morning. I started drinking a glass of water before I rollerblade and it has helped me through my workout. You are on to something there!!!
