Excuses to visit Disney

It's _____ (insert day of the week here) and everyone knows that's the best day to go to WDW ;).

I missed some hidden Mickey's :earsboy: , better go find them before someone else does.

Hey, think I left something in my hotel room last time I visitied, not sure what :scratchin , but I better go back and get it now.

Need to go the WDW, it's good for the Florida economy and to help those struggling airlines and of course I want to do my part to help ::yes::

Monorail-drink-a-thon - never done it, need to try it - NOW

An actual conversation in my house this past Jan 05:

"Well we've discussed trying for kids next January, so that means I could get pregnant very soon after that. So if we don't go this year, or any of 2006 and then we're not taking an infant to WDW, so that's like 3 years without Disney and I don't think I can handle that! :faint: So we have to go in October this year for the Food & Wine Festival because we want to have a baby next year."

:teeth: You think I'll make it 3 years without a Mouse fix? :rotfl2: I'll just have those pregnancy hormones do the talking:

"We're going. Got it? Pack. Now! Thanks honey. :flower3: "

The Mickey key chain that I bought on my last trip broke, so I need to get a new one :)

I told my friend that went with me and her keychain has broken too.

I think its fate!

"The dogs need some more of those little dog treats they sell in the bone tins!" :jumping1:

"I'm unemployed for the first time in 20 years. What else have I got to do and who knows what kind of vacation I'll get at my next job!"

(I'm actually using the 2nd one as an excuse to go the first week of May! :bounce: I've even started watching airfare to see if I can squeeze in another trip! Don't tell DH!!! Gotta get your money's worth for those APs!")

I have more food put away for the next vacation then food for the week so must be time to go again!

I almost have my scrapebook done from last time.

Dole Whips are calling my tummy.

Skyauction had good deals so just have to book now for two more trips!

:jumping1:

The universe has held off on letting me find a new job so I need to take DD now in case the new job I find doesn't come with vacation time. :cool2:

I just live too close... so I must take advantage of my home's location!
Will soon have to take full advantage of Seasonal Pass!!! :)

1. the peppermints in the little metal boxes are empty :mickeybar

That's one of ours, too! Except last year we bought the big tin, and it hasn't run out yet. Oh well, who cares?

Also,
--We haven't figured out how to make a good Kungaloosh here at home.
--The Toll House cookie ice cream sandwiches don't taste as good when they come from the grocery store as they do from a WDW cart.
--There are still a few characters DD hasn't met yet. What kind of childhood will it be if she doesn't meet Mary Poppins?
--We can't find a Moroccan restaurant with belly dancers in Oklahoma.
--We got a pin code. How could we not use it?
--We got a CRT ressie. Again, how could we not use it?
--After all the problems we've had in the past year, we need to de-stress in our "Happy Place".
--After all the problem-solving blessings we've received in the past year, we need to celebrate in our "Happy Place".
--Because we just want to go again, darn it! And in 48 days, we will! :Pinkbounc

Another Actual Conversation between DBF and me last summer...

At a friends birthday party, Friday night about 10.30 pm

me- "The best cheeseburger I've ever had was that one in Pleasure Island (its gone now :( )

DBF- " If we leave now we can get there by tomorrow night. We'll go get a cheeseburger and be back by Mon afternoon! Let's go!!!"

First I agree with the mint tins, mine are empty. :rotfl2:

Also how about, I forgot what Beverly tastes like so I have to go and taste it again.

The best excuse for an adult to go is.... Hey I have kids and THEY begged me to take them.

Leaving in 7 days!!!!!!!

... Oh and of course have to get our money's worth out of those AP's. Those AP's have cost us a lot of money getting our money's worth!

We're getting our money's worth out of those AP's too... At least that's the excuse DH and I are using for the trip that starts tomorrow and yet another trip planned for June! :cool1:

Wow, the dining plan looks good, but if we wait, DD will be 10 and we will have to pay the adult price, and then it won't be as good of a deal, and her park tickets will be more too.

From a few years ago. In a few months, (other) DD will be 3. If we go ahead and go now, she is free.

Well, we need to bring DD to see the University of Florida, which is sooo nearby! ::yes:: As long as we're in the vicinity, you know, we DO have those seasonal passes. When you think about it, this trip is an absolute necessity for my child's future! ;)

we're having our first baby in august...so we had to make just one trip in may before the baby arrives! of course, we also made a weekend trip in december so i could ride the roller coasters before getting pregnant :)

That one got you too, huh? DH and I are going for 3 nights in June thanks to SouthWest, LOL. That, and the AP that is "saving" me so much money. :rolleyes2 :teeth:

Sounds to me like this could be a "business" trip . . . love those tax write offs! ;)

It really wasnt an excuse i went to a doctors appointment with them while i was there in October and ended up spending the day in the ER. My freind was really upset that i lost a whole day of vaccation. I told her that I was there because i wanted to.
