Excuses to visit Disney

10. DH needs a Toll-House Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich and we can't get it at our grocery store.

You could try Walgreens; I've seen them there. But, really, why bother? They won't taste the same, so you might as well just go to Disney.

Just had a tumor and part of left lung removed. Tumor showed clean and well defined edges and lymph nodes are clean, so I have been given a clean bill of health and our 31st annivesary is coming on 5/18. So a celebration is due.

We will arrive on 5/18 and have our annivesary dinner at Le Cellier and watch Illuminations hand in hand and we finally get to stay at POFQ.

P.S. Don't tell DW, she doesn't know yet and I hope to keep it that way until the town car picks us up on 5/17 to spend the night at Clarion Hotel La Guardia Airport for our 6AM flight on 5/18.

I can think of plenty of excuses to go to Disney. Although some of them may be a bit frivolous. ("My nose itches. Well! Better go to Disneyworld.")

Congrats! You are too cool! I am so happy to hear about the good news on your tumor. What a great way to celebrate . . . onto WDW!

I always say I do my best thinking when I am at WDW. If I need to make a decision I go to the parks.

Safetymom, that's why I spent 68 days on my 2003/2004 AP at WDW - had lots of thinking to do!

Philaround, that's one of the BEST excuses to go - congratulations!

Now, on a more frivolous note, I broke down and got a haircut locally today - I HATE IT!!! That's it - my hairdresser is at CSR and I will need to go visit her at least 4x a year to get my hair cut.....

Oh, I am there with you! My hairdresser got "scissor happy" on my last visit so I definitely need to go to CSR and try your hairdresser! Sounds like a reason to go to me!

The salon at CSR is great - there is only room for one or max two guests at a time. My hair smelled soooooooooo good - it even removed the Splash Mountain smell.

It's the same company which runs the salon at YC/BC and used to be at the Renaissance resort at Seaworld. Very reasonable prices too.

So I do recommend making CSR your hairdresser - heck, some people may need to go every 2 months for a haircut!

i've been unemployed for the last couple of months and if we don't go soon, what if a job offer comes along? then i would have to take vacation time from a new job, and they would probably fire me

i agree with the $49 airfare
with plane tickets that cheap, i mean really, if i didn't go what else would i spend that money on?

It's been 2 months since we ate at Le Cellier. I need their prime rib sandwich.

I need the pulled pork from Whispering Canyon.

Look... airfare is only $49 one way on Airtran.

Well I did not think I needed an excuse to go HOME!!!


But lets see

I must go to WDW because I am not there.
I must go to WDW bevause I think I left something there last time..... I don't know what it is or where in the world it might be so it may take a while for me to find it. Oh I don't know maybe like 10 days or so.
I must go to WDW because there is no other place I want to be!!

Thank You!! The house depends on our builder!! A wild, hopefully not too optimistic guess!!

My trip calendar is wrong by about a month,though. We are leaving on 7/31.
(The last time I tried to fix it, I really messed up my signature!!)
