I'm glad to hear that ya'll made it safe and sound. Hopefully, the skies start to clear up so you can get out and explore!

You are right! Beautiful and fun!! Great resort!

Love the pictures!

Wait… LAST supper?!?! Are we almost done?!?!!? NO!!!!!!!!!!:sad1:

I'm sure that those WComp Adjusters don't know how to handle you, since you actually KNOW how the legal stuff works! :thumbsup2

Good morning! Can you believe that it's only Tuesday? The way the work week started out, I would have sworn that it was at least Thursday, if not Friday. I don't know why I am surprised though. People get their income tax refund checks in and it's time to file for divorce, get their ex for back child support or fight for their rights. I'm with 'em....I wouldn't be able to afford an attorney if I didn't work for one. Attorney fees are expensive!

Spring has sprung here in Louisiana and everything is blooming like crazy so we're all suffering from allergies. I had a headache so bad Sunday afternoon that I took a nap to try and make it go away....it didn't. :sad1:

John had a neuro appointment yesterday and got a good report. Worker's Comp who covers his injury has been trying to pull some sneaky stuff on us and the doctor but I think that we've shown them that we aren't the dummies they thought that we were. Yeah, offer us a piddling sum of money when John's meds are $2,000 a month. Just meds! Who knows what his treatment costs will be in the future. Anyway, that's another headache we've been dealing with and I know that a nap ain't taking care of that headache.

LOVED the final walk around the resort...and no need to be sad, another trip is on the horizon! :yay::dance3::yay:

I feel for you and the allergies, Lisa has been miserable with it herself, so frustrating I know!:grouphug:

But speaking of FRUSTRATING! PTL you have a great doctor on your side and someone to help fight them! They should be ashamed, NO amount of money will give John back his health! :grouphug::grouphug:

I am praying!!!

Beautiful walk around the resort!!! I just love CBR. I wish they would stick Queen sized beds in there and I think it would quickly become one of the most popular resorts with it's beauty and amazing pool. :thumbsup2

Glad to hear John had a good report from the doctor. Pure craziness with workers comp. Ugh!

And stood in front of this door:

So funny you stopped at this door. It was just a couple down from where we stayed on our first trip!!!

And this was the view from our window... Hard to see the parking lot through the greenery here.

Yep, it's the last supper on property. :worried:

Worker's Comp can drive me batty! Sometimes, we won't have a problem from them for almost a year. Then, they are sending us letters or calling us left and right.

If anybody knows the tiptoe through the tulips game with insurance, it's gotta be you. Like you said, there's no amount of money that would take back that brain injury. The last offer was just $140,000 total. Excuse me but that would be eaten up in no time at all. :furious:

I wish that they'd put the queen beds in too. That's one of the complaints that I read the most about the CBR.

Enjoyed my "walk" around the resort! :)

Glad John got a good report!

Wasn't the walk lovely? :rotfl: I'm glad that John's report came out good too. Three months until the next check up!

I seriously think I stayed in that room that you just photographed. :rotfl: Too funny. I remember I was in Barbados and we had a corner room on the first floor which walked right out to the parking lot. I loved it. The car was literally a couple feet away.

All those pictures of the scenery and the paths take me right back to that trip - and it was a good one. Lots of good memories - so thanks! :thumbsup2

It sounds like that may have been "your" room that I took the picture of. ;)

I have a ziplock bag and I WILL use it!

My wet walk around the resort done, I came back to find everybody just about ready to go back to the Magic Kingdom. Once the freshening up was done, we walked over to the Jamaica bus stop for the last time of the trip. Sad, truly sad, to see a trip coming to an end. The bus came quickly and we were soon being dropped off outside the Magic Kingdom gates. Lacey and I went through bag check and met the guys on the other side.

Looks like we made it to the Magic Kingdom a little before 7:00 p.m.

We walked under the railroad station and down Main Street until we came to The Crystal Palace. Its become a tradition that we end our trip with a meal there. Im fairly picky when it comes to buffets and The Crystal Palace has always been kept clean and the food has been fresh and tasty. I checked us in while the others waited nearby. Looks like they had company:

Our pager nestled in the palm of John’s hand:

And one of the light fixture outside the restaurant:

I can’t say with any certainly how long our wait was but I don’t remember it being too long. I’m thinking it was about 15 minutes or so. We were shown to our table which was to the left and about four or five tables from the entranceway. The cute sign hanging in the restaurant:

DSCF4294.jpg

Our waiter came and took our drink order and then asked if we had been there before. When we said that we had, he told us that we should know the drill and head on up and fill our plates. And fill them we did. I don’t know who’s plate is who’s but I do know that mine and Lacey’s are the ones with the food NOT touching each other. We’re weird like that:

And the plate of bread that I got for us to share:

DSCF4297.jpg

As soon as I sat the plate of bread down, John and I both said “Hey, that’s Mama’s favorite bread” (talking about my Mama). My mother has talked non-stop for two whole years about the multi grain bread that Disney has. “Oh it’s so good!” “How I wish I had some of that Disney bread!” “I bought (insert some brand name bread here) bread and it wasn’t even close to being as good as that Disney bread.” “Remember that bread we had at Disney that had the sunflower seeds on it?”

I’m serious ya’ll. I’m not exaggerating! She loved that bread. The only food that she talked about more than the bread was the mushroom risotto at LeCellier.

So, the most delicious bread in the whole wide world was on the table and I had this bright idea that I would take some home to her. Now before ya’ll think that I was stealing bread from Disney, I would like to plead my case. I paid darn good money for the Disney dining plan. To the tune of about $55 a day per person mind you. If I wanted to take my dear, almost 80 year old mother some multi-grain bread that’s the best thing in the world, I was going to take it home to her.

But, what was I going to put it in? How would I smuggle it out of the restaurant? What was my plan? Hey! I know! I keep a ziplock bag in my backsack just for times like these. Well, not that I have a bunch of “times like these” as in taking bread from The Crystal Palace but “times like these” when I need a bag for storing the little items that roll around in my backsack.

**Continued in next post

The whole thing turned into this covert operation where I sneakily took the items out of my ziplock bag, put the bag into my lap and snuck a piece of bread into it. I did it three times until I had four slices of bread in the ziplock bag. I had to then sneak the bag back into the backsack all the while trying to look innocent. By the time the mission was accomplished, we were all laughing our heads off. I’m talking to the point that tears were rolling down our faces. It was so funny. Here’s John’s reaction:

While in the midst of our laughing, Piglet came around and Hunter and Jesse posed for a picture:

Eeyore came by a little while later:

In between characters, we went back to the buffet for desserts:

Nope! Nobody here is taking bread! Ain’t nobody got time for that!

**Up next: Is that caterpillar smoking a hookah? This is Disney right
?

I still think John looked like he was smirking when you all were trying to play it cool!
Too funny. And go for it. A couple of pieces of bread is fine by me. I might have you mail me some next time! ;)

Yeah, he did. It was hard to take a picture of us being serious when we had been laughing so hard before.

Well, Jen, I DO carry several extra ziplock bags.

Oh my goodness! :rotfl: Ain't nobody got time for that! You're killing me! :lmao:

You can tell that we have teenage boys can't you?:lmao:

I'm definitely :lmao::rotfl2: at your "covert operation" to take bread for your Mama!! That is so funny.

Love all of the food pictures, and your pictures with the characters. :goodvibes

Aruba! I think it's the prettiest of the CBR villages. Then again, I might be biased since that's where we stayed. I wish I had known about that wooden pathway. I have a thing for wooden pathway for some reason. Then again, our first trip was so short and so jam packed full of stuff, I probably wouldn't have had time to check it out anyway.

OMG, you had me :lmao: at your bread story! I sure hope it was still fresh tasting for Mama when she got it!

I love it!!! Ziplock bags save the day!!! What did Mama say about getting some of that wonderful bread?!?!! I bet if you had asked they would have just given you some!
