When you book excursions thru DCL, do they charge a deposit, or do you have to pay upfront? We haven't been on DCL since 2005, and every time we have cruised before our excursions have been cancelled for one reason or another . Looking forward to our cruise though, it will be the first time for our kiddos! NYC to Bermuda in October!:earsboy:

You do not pay for excursions until you are onboard, when they will be charged to your account. You can cancel with no penalty up until 3 days before sailing. If the ship can’t dock or the excursion is cancelled for any other reason, the cost will be refunded to your account.

This is one of the things I appreciate about sailing with Disney. With some other cruise lines, they take your money way ahead of time, and then sometimes take quite a while to process refunds if an excursion is canceled. That happened to my brother and his family.
