I was looking at another cruiseline's website for examples of excursions for Mexico and I saw that they had an excursion where you were able to go to a hotel and use their beach/pool. I believe it was either Princess or Carnival. It looked like a nice hotel. Any speculation on if Disney will work with a hotel at one of the ports? I would love to do a little shopping then just go to a hotel and sit on the beach. Also, does anyone know what snorkeling is like in Mexico? My DS loved snorkeling at Castaway Cay and would like to do it again. My DD is scared of sharks in Mexico--she knew at Castaway Cay the sharks couldn't get in.

You can get alot of information about these ports at cruisecritic.com. Often you can save time and money by doing excursions on your own. At least you can check into them and see what is out there - it will help with your planning...

Disney contracts with Atlantis hotel in Nassau for some excursions, I don't see why they might not contract with other hotels in Mexico.
