If an excursion doesn't say that it provides drinks/snacks, should I still expect them to provide bottled water? Wondering if I need to pack bottled water for our catamaran snorkeling adventure. If so, is it free on the cruise, or do I have to pay for it? Trying ot figure out if I need to take bottled water onto eht ship. Thanks!

If it does not say something is included in the excursion, I would not count on it.

You can purchase a bottled water "package" (a set number) on the ship. OR you can bring a water bottle and refill it on board at the drink stations by using one of the small cups provided, not by putting your bottle up to the spout.

As noted, unless the excursion description says so, I wouldn't plan on having it available. Not to say it won't be provided, but I wouldn't count on it.

We just bring our own refillable water bottle and fill up in the room. If we use a wide mouth bottle, we can put ice in it from the ice bucket in the room.

Either bring bottled water on as a carry on or bring some from home and refill them either at the drink stations up on Deck 11 or in the cabin from the faucets there. The water on the ship is all processed properly and very safe to drink. Ask your cabin host/hostess for some ice and specify how many times a day you would like it to be there. As noted, if you fill the water bottles up on Deck 11 at the drink stations, use the cups provided to do so.

Just returned from the Disney Magic and they had Disney soft coolers with ice and (6) water bottles available for purchase on excursion days for about $20. Many of the excursions have water provided, but we wanted to make sure we didn't get dehydrated. You can also purchase a case of water bottles for your room.

In Feb 2015 we were able to purchase bottled water when we gathered for our excursion. Not sure if this is common practice? We were visiting Grand Cayman Islands on the Wonder.

Yeah, they are normally selling bottled water with the strap for carrying it. I always bring a refillable water bottle that I fill with ice (and then the rest with water) from the drink station. It works for excursions, running on deck 4, or on the treadmill or exercise bike in the gym.
