Excursion Question

Do all Disney excursions have a Disney employee accompany them?

As far as I can remember, I think at least most of them did. Now, if there were more than one bus doing the same excursion, I think there was just one CM along.

On our Med cruise, we had someone on all the tours. Probably because of the travel times involved between the port and where the excursions were, so they could contact the ship, if necessary.

Our Hawaii excursions were not accompanied. Neither were our Mexican Riviera excursions.

On my past two years I've been on five cruises and probably 8 port adventures and only once did a cast member join us. Nevertheless the port adventures where fine and we had no problems whatsoever.

On my Mexican Riviera earlier this year we had cast members on all 3 excursions we went on.

Some are accompanied. Some are not. On Hawaii only two that I did were accompanied and one of those was in Ensanada. On the Baltic cruise I don't think any of them were.

We have never had a Disney employee accompany us past the point where we board whatever means of transportation the excursion uses. We've always had individual tour operators pick us up at that point. All the tour operators we've had have been very good!
