Exciting Find at Target!

I checked one and called a second one. They were sold out of the bigger screens and the 3.5 were 60 ish and 84 ish.

The other thing is the battery is rechargeable, not AA or AAA or whatever. In my experience those batteries will NOT hold a charge after awhile, which was another reason not to pay $64. It says the battery only lasts 2.5 hours - barely long enough for one DVD before you have to recharge.

Ours holds a charge through TWO Disney DVDs. My DD loves The Three Mouseketeers and Little Mermaid and has watched them both on the player and it didn't have to be recharged in the middle. I just bought the car charger with a long cord so it can reach the cigarette lighter and she can still watch her movies on longer trips.

I was at our local Target last night and didn't find any Disney ones, but they did have some Kawasaki brand that were the same size. I think they were marked $89 on clearance. I wasn't interested. I might go to the other Target in our area tomorrow night, so I'll have to see what they have.

I checked at our Super Target and no Disney DVD players. But they did have a Looney Tunes one that seemed similar and was on sale for $68. I still think the Disney one is much cuter!!! Called my mom and she was able to find a Mickey Mouse one at her local Target for $68. It was the only one left on one of the back aisles. I wish I could find one for $32!!!

I just got back from our Target. They were marked $64. I talked to the Dept head and told him I knew some Targets had them for $32.00 and asked him if he could check the price. He checked and they were still $64., but he told me they were trying to clear out a lot of merchandise and he could take another 35% off. It came to $44 with the tax. It never hurts to ask Good Luck!

The first Target I went to was sold out but the associate in that department told me which store still had them. That store was $63. I told them that some stores were selling them for $32. They said that each Target can mark their clearence down as they want to. Bummer.

do they play regular dvd's or are they like the video now's that my dd has and only plays certain disks...ie special disks made only for that player...

They play regular DVDs, as well as CDs, mini DVDs, and more. It's a cute player for a younger child.
I ended up getting the Power Rangers one for my son (it was that or Princess and I don't think he would appreciate the Princess one )

I called a few Targets and they have them in stock but you have to check the end of the rows because some I called said they did not have them and they did! They were $63. They do there markdowns on Tuesday so check back. They are worth it for $32.

I went to my Target last Wednesday and found the last dvd player marked for $64.98. I purchased it and on Sunday I called and gave them the barcode to see what the price in the system now said. It was now coming up at $32.00. They allowed me to bring in my receipt and get a price adjustment so my DVD player ended up costing $32.00. What a deal! Thanks for posting this deal in the beginning. My price tag indicted the DVD player origianlly sold for $129.99! WOW!

I tried to get a few to sell to you Ravyn or even on EBAY but they only had ONE mickey DVD player left so I bought it for my 5 yo dd who does not have one...other girls have video now...got mine today for 32.00 I like that it plays standard DVD's as I think the video nows only play certain disks...I also got a DVD player case for 2 dollars!! and head phones for it for 2 dollars!!! I could go look at other area Targets but we leave on Wed so I do not know if I will have time to do so...I do not think I will I am so sorry!!! If I happen to get out to the other stores around here I will pick up a couple. They also had personal pink players with small screens for 49 bucks with a lot of "extras" I got the Disney one becuase it was cheaper and had Mickey on it!!!

That's so nice! Thanks for looking though. Don't worry too much about going to other stores. . . . especially cause you leave on Wednesday (soooooo jealous), I don't want to put anybody out. I'm just bummed our target is out and there isn't another for many miles. . . . and this would be perfect for the road trip down. (which is probably what everyone on here is thinking too)

I just got done charging it and for 30 bucks it is aawesome!!! The picture is great and it comes with a 72 min DVD with some Disney channel shows that my girls LOVE...now the girls that have the video now are going to be jealous!! A mom never wins...anyway it has a great little screen, when you turn the player on, the castle comes up on screen!! I got cheap headphones and a very cheap case, looks flatter and wider than a lunchbox, and is blue...to go with the DVD player. It is white with black tugboat mickeys(old style Mickey) and a red colored back with a little flip out stand so it can sit upright and be watched!!! Considering the Video Now cost me 70 bucks and the Disks are super expensive and not a very big choice, I love that this player plays standard DVD's.

Very excited for the girls to get home and for them to see this!!! If anyone finds it for 30 bucks it is VERY VERY worth it, esp for little kids!!! It will be awesome for this trip and future road trips!! Oh btw, it has TWO headphone jacks!!!!!!!!!! WOW!! That is cool considering my big sony personal DVD does not have this feature! Perfect for two small kids even...it plays music dvd's as well. My husband complains about letting the girls use ours because they are so fragile but this one is very sturdy feeling...bit bigger than the video nows...but not terribly large or heavy. I have a VCR in my van now but the kids can easily do this unassisted while I drive. My 5 yo needs my help with the VCR and you have to rewind those stupid tapes so I am very excited for the dvd player and our trip in 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
