Yes, you may -- but it is fee-based (not free). Be sure to ask about it when you phone Member Services. You'll find their phone number in the "To help you further" section of your RCI Confirmation.
I knew it wouldn't be free....that if we could add on the DDP to an exchange reservation, we would need to pay the standard prices for it. I just wanted to make sure that it was possible so I wouldn't have to do a bunch of cooking and kitchen clean up duty for everyone while on vacation. As a mom who does all the cooking and kitchen duties, I have to think of these things.
The fee is essentially to run the exchange program. It provides nothing not already available to the member who exchanged out. There is no way around it that I am aware and is even charged to members who trade in by other means.
