Yeah I remember when my mom was up in her years she did not like to give out candy either. Didn't help that she lived alone and was nearly blind. Some years one of us did it for her. But we got tired of it too.
She did stop doing that after awhile. Plus she lived in an apt complex that had lots of kids.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween. My daughter's friend joined my kids in trick or treating, and they had alot of fun. This morning, they are now reading the Sunday comics, so today's QOTD is-

Which comic strips were your favorites to read in the Sunday or daily newspaper?

For Better or For Worse. It's interesting seeing the strip start over from the beginning, knowing how everything turns out.

Seen as I can't remember the names of any comic strips in the daily papers I guess that means I didn't really read the comic strips in the papers!!

Blondie mostly. But I enjoyed Pogo cartoons too. (I will add tho' it has been YEARS, if not decades, I have read any...)

I wonder if Elizabeth and Anthony ever married?

For Better or For Worse. It's interesting seeing the strip start over from the beginning, knowing how everything turns out.

For Better or For Worse
Adam
Cathy
Sally Forth

But haven't read any in a few years....we stopped out paper about 2 years ago

I've read Peanuts, Blondie, Family Circle, Dennis the Menace, Garfield and B.C. for years. I've added LuAnn, For Better For Worse, Zits, Crankshaft, Red and Rover (the newest), Foxtrot, Sally Forth, Baby Blues, Bizarro, Funky Winkerbean, Hi and Lois, Drabble and Ballard Street.

I guess you could say I read the comics. :goodvibes But only on Sunday. That's the only day I buy the newspaper for the ads and coupons. I used to read Prince Valiant a long time ago but it was hard to keep up with reading it one day a week.

never. We buy what we really like or watch HBO movies when they come on.

Well, DD did once on the trip. She goes to the Red Box

We subscibe to Netflix. If we had cable, we wouldn't but Netflix is cheaper.

Not often as we tend to buy them. We also have all the movie channels as part of our satalite TV package.
