Have you ever had a penpal?

I used to have a few penpals through IYS and our school French exchange but they fizzled out after a while. One of mum's friends had a penpal through the Girl Guides and they finally met a couple of years ago after more than 30-odd years of contact.

A time or two but they never lasted long. As a child, I loved to write letters but could never get anyone to consistantly write back.

Nope, I am really bad at stuff like that.

I've got 8 penpals at the moment. They are from Australia, Germany, England, and Holland. I write to them on a fairly regular basis. About 1 1/2 years ago I joined International PenfriendS (IPF). As a result of this, it's given a fresh perspective on what's going on in the world, and have learned a great deal about the countries that they live in as a result. Has been a very interesting and rewarding experience for me. Have a great day!

It's funny you asked that today, because yesterday I found the cards with addresses from when I had penpals. I had one from Brazil, Italy, HongKong,France and England. I even found the girl from England and emailed her last year! We had written until we were in college.

I used to have a penpal in fifth grade, but then we lost touch when we were in high school. I have had some friends that I kept in touch with via snail mail, but we ended up either just emailing, pming each other, or just lost touch, except for one. Same for my daughter, she has had some penpals, but lost touch .

tossed, my mother's potato salad, tuna salad

Green preferably....chef, Cobb, Caesar's, veggie ones that we have every night with dinner, Italian chop
Also tuna....only mine though.

I'm usually up at 6:00 am six days out of seven and go to bed between 9:30 and 10:00 pm Sunday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday it's a little later since Carol's curfew is midnight.

get up everyday at 6.......internal alarm won't let me go much later ever.

go to bed about 10:00 - 10:30.
