I found it--but like I said, it's not a true recipe.

SPAGHETTI SAUCE

10 cans (28 ounce) of crushed tomatoes
5 cans (6 ounce) of tomato paste
10 cloves garlic
Salt
Pepper
Cinnamon
Basil
Oregano

Open cans and empty contents into large pot that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Simmer for ½ hr, and then add salt, pepper, garlic, cinnamon, basil and oregano. Allow mixture to cook for 1 hr. Then add the paste and cook for 1 more hr. Stir every ½ hr. Add cooked meatballs and cook for 1 ½ to 2 hrs. more.

MEATBALLS

3 lbs. beef
Salt
Pepper
Garlic
Parsley flakes
Bread crumbs
Worchester sauce
Parmesan cheese
Water

Mix all ingredients together. Shape into balls and bake in 400 degree oven until well browned.

I usually use a lot of garlic, lots of oregano & basil. I just put a small amount of cinnamon. I like the way cinnamon just adds a little 'warmth' to the sauce. I don't put sugar in it, I just cook it a long time, and that cuts any acidity. I think that's why I don't like jarred sauce--they just taste too sweet to me. I also bake the sausages, they take about an hour in the oven. I prefer to bake the meat--I don't have to stand there cooking them. I do turn the meat ever 15 minutes.
Thanks! They sound delicious!

I have been wanting to eat Chinese food, and have been thinking about Chinese New Year. What are some of your favorite Chinese foods?

As per yesterdays QOTD, we own just one computer, that was driving me nuts yesterday, as despite all our firewalls, and anti-virus software, got attacked by 2 viruses yesterday, and locked up the computer until I could get a tekkie friend of mine to unlock it:scared1: . While it completed the anti-virus scan another bug was found, and I was able to rid myself of it before it did any damage. I did another thorough scan with our other anti-virus software, and it showed that no other bugs were hiding in our computer. The computer is now bug free, and no damage was done. Just to let you know that these little critters attached themselves to my JAVA update, so be careful when updating it.

As for the current question, I my favourite Chinese foods are Honey garlic spareribs, Cashew chicken in a potato nest, and ginger beef. We tend to eat alot of it, as we live in the biggest China town in North America (Richmond). I also love SUSHI, but that's not Chinese.
Have a great day!

Hey everybody! I'm back!

:) Carol is going there next year so I bought her a hoodie for Christmas. How was your trip?

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!party:

Trip was good thanks :) We stopped overnight in Biloxi on the way to Orlando, which was fun. We went to MK first night (Dec. 22) and it was SO BUSY! Until fireworks. Then everyone left. I mean, EVERYONE! It was amazing. We walked onto every ride. Got great seats for the second Spectro 3 minutes before it started ( ) and afterwards got like 30 pics from the photopass guys with no waiting! It was magical.

How many computers have you owned?

Um we have 2 Desktops and 2 laptops. I think everyone should have lots of computers, and I'm not just saying that because my DW works for a computer company...:rolleyes1

I have been wanting to eat Chinese food, and have been thinking about Chinese New Year. What are some of your favorite Chinese foods?

When I go to eat at our local Chinese restaurant, I usually get chicken and broccoli on fried rice with won ton soup and an eggroll which I dip in sweet and sour sauce.

Wow! That was magical. I can't imagine why anyone would clear the park like that.

I've tried sushi and don't care for it. To be honest, I really wouldn't know if I have eaten Japanese food or not besides the sushi.

What type of sushi have you tried? I think there are many people that are against trying sushi because they think that sushi always has to be raw fish, but that is not true. There is the California roll, cucumber that is rolled in rice and nori-(dried seaweed), .....
As for other Japanese foods, there is shrimp and vegetable tempura, udon, sukiyaki, yakisoba, tonkatsu, yakitori, oden, nishime, miso soup, miso butterfish, tsukemono, arare, ........
There are many things out there, but my favorite is shrimp tempura, followed by sushi. YUM!

Now I am really hungry! Yes, please, to all of the above and then some lol!

And schnerk- I am right there with ya; it is all about the wasabi! Yum!

It was something that our local Asian buffet had. I don't know what it was just that it was sushi. Next time I go I'll see if I can't find out.

I'm sure there was something Japanese there since it was an asian buffet. When we were in Vegas, we had gone to an asian buffet, and they had frog legs. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Fav Japenese foods are Wasabi, pickled ginger, California rolls, cucumber rolls, egg sushi, and salmon sushi.

After I had seen frog legs, I didn't even eat the fried foods since I was fearing that they deep fried the other foods in the same oil. Who knows maybe they used the same batter for other things  .

I also like benishoga :).
