Thanks! They sound delicious!I found it--but like I said, it's not a true recipe.
SPAGHETTI SAUCE
10 cans (28 ounce) of crushed tomatoes
5 cans (6 ounce) of tomato paste
10 cloves garlic
Salt
Pepper
Cinnamon
Basil
Oregano
Open cans and empty contents into large pot that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Simmer for ½ hr, and then add salt, pepper, garlic, cinnamon, basil and oregano. Allow mixture to cook for 1 hr. Then add the paste and cook for 1 more hr. Stir every ½ hr. Add cooked meatballs and cook for 1 ½ to 2 hrs. more.
MEATBALLS
3 lbs. beef
Salt
Pepper
Garlic
Parsley flakes
Bread crumbs
Worchester sauce
Parmesan cheese
Water
Mix all ingredients together. Shape into balls and bake in 400 degree oven until well browned.
I usually use a lot of garlic, lots of oregano & basil. I just put a small amount of cinnamon. I like the way cinnamon just adds a little 'warmth' to the sauce. I don't put sugar in it, I just cook it a long time, and that cuts any acidity. I think that's why I don't like jarred sauce--they just taste too sweet to me. I also bake the sausages, they take about an hour in the oven. I prefer to bake the meat--I don't have to stand there cooking them. I do turn the meat ever 15 minutes.
Hey everybody! I'm back!
Carol is going there next year so I bought her a hoodie for Christmas. How was your trip?

I have been wanting to eat Chinese food, and have been thinking about Chinese New Year. What are some of your favorite Chinese foods?

When I go to eat at our local Chinese restaurant, I usually get chicken and broccoli on fried rice with won ton soup and an eggroll which I dip in sweet and sour sauce.I have been wanting to eat Chinese food, and have been thinking about Chinese New Year. Wow! That was magical. I can't imagine why anyone would clear the park like that.We went to MK first night (Dec. 22) and it was SO BUSY! Until fireworks. Then everyone left. I mean, EVERYONE! It was amazing. We walked onto every ride. Got great seats for the second Spectro 3 minutes before it started ( ) and afterwards got like 30 pics from the photopass guys with no waiting! It was magical.
What is your most favorite Japanese foods?
Hmmmm... I love Sushi... but it's the wasbii that really makes me happy. Does that count?
yes since wasabi is Japanese. Do you like all the wasabi snacks that are out there like the wasabi covered peanuts?
I've tried sushi and don't care for it. To be honest, I really wouldn't know if I have eaten Japanese food or not besides the sushi. What is your most favorite Japanese foods?

What type of sushi have you tried? I think there are many people that are against trying sushi because they think that sushi always has to be raw fish, but that is not true. There is the California roll, cucumber that is rolled in rice and nori-(dried seaweed), .....
As for other Japanese foods, there is shrimp and vegetable tempura, udon, sukiyaki, yakisoba, tonkatsu, yakitori, oden, nishime, miso soup, miso butterfish, tsukemono, arare, ........
There are many things out there, but my favorite is shrimp tempura, followed by sushi. YUM!
It was something that our local Asian buffet had. I don't know what it was just that it was sushi. Next time I go I'll see if I can't find out. What type of sushi have you tried?
