Have you sent out your Christmas :santa: cards yet? If not, when do you plan to do so?

Can I join in your thread?

We have not even taken our picture yet for our card. :guilty: But on the flip side, last Saturday I did get out all of the cards I needed to for the holiday exchange! ;)

You know what, thank you, because if Im going to order picture cards I really need to do that today!:rolleyes1

Where in the world does the time go!

Welcome Lisa :).

I had gotten our photo card from Costco, and you can upload the picture, design the card, and they will have it ready in 24 hours :thumbsup2 . I had mailed out a bunch of our cards already....but I don't know who I had already given some out to, and not :(.

I know that some of your DISers were to get some, but I forgot who had recieved one except for four. :rolleyes1

 Lisa!!!!

Patsy - nothing yet. I put my (pre-lit) tree up on Saturday and had electrical/lighting issues, so I waited on the ornaments, decorations and topper. :sad2: If it WAS ready, I have a Santa Mickey topper, tho! :thumbsup2

I have an angel at the top of our tree. She lights up but we don't have her connected. Her lights blink and drive us crazy!!

What is on the top of your Christmas tree?

We do not have our tree up yet. We will get it hopefully next Saturday and then decorate it on Sunday. We need to let it fall for a night. And give the cat some time to check it out before decorations!;)

Anyway in 2001 we made an angel tree top out of a 7-Up soda bottle and soaked string in glue and wrapped it all the way around it and then rolled it in gold glitter. We put a gold Christmas ball on the top for the head, cut out some gold doilies in the shape of wings and then put a gold halo on top. We love it. I will post a picture if I think of it. We made it the same year we made our tree skirt with the handprints (and paw prints from our cats to which we will have a new addition this year!):santa:

 Lisa. Good to see you here.

No tree this year....but usually we have a Minnie angel on one and a Taz biker angel on the other.
DS put my tree up at his house this year, but he is too lazy  to go look through all the boxes for any topper.....so it is topperless

No tree for DH and I this year....we will be off to his family's house for Christmas and then the day after...well...DISNEY WORLD!! :woohoo: I am getting sooooo excited!! :yay: (You can't tell huh....:rolleyes1 ) :rotfl2:
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL !!!

I love you guys!! Thanks for always being soooo nice to me! :grouphug: :goodvibes

Thanks!!

And OMG I am cracking up over the topperless tree!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl: We'll have to remedy that when we get there ;)

Not like it is hard to find the toppers. My storage boxes are clear and it is a bit obvious which ones are Christmas ;)

I put our pre-lit tree up yesterday but no ornaments on it yet. My topper is an acrylic Father Christmas figure- we string lights up inside it so it glows all colorfully from within lol! :santa:

Christmas cards mailed today...check, 35 dzn cookies made this week...check, am I ready for Christmas...almost. I gave the kids the choose 1 of 3 Christmas Angels to put on the tree, and they insisted I put up an old Christmas Angel I bought around 8 years ago. It's always been a bit tippy on the tree, so I created a way for it to be stable on the tree. Would love to get out my special ornaments, but will have to wait until next year when they are old enough to leave the tree alone. Have a great day!!

Trish

Wow, Trish, you have been busy! And I can't hardly find time to make the little bit I do. Of course, everything is bumped up because we're spending Christmas on the road.:moped:

Being a stay at home mom helps with the Christmas preparations. Even so, yesterday was a litttle crazy. Had to get a last minute apt with my doctor for a minor health problem. Bribed him with cookies to get the apt:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 . That worked out well, then I had another apt moved up 9 days, and ended up getting the cyst I wanted removed 9 days early. So I'm sporting 3 stitches at the moment behind my left ear. Glad the cyst is gone, and one less thing to deal with as we get closer to our trip to DL in Feb. Have a great evening!

Today's QOTD was thought by my daughter-

What is your favorite fruit?

I do not like fruit at all because I have this texture and skin thing. However this year I tried Honeycrisp Apples and I am hooked (peeled of course!) I also ike pineapples. :)
