Hubby and I received a trophy for best pumpkin carved underwater...does it count??? (little known fact that pumpkins do float, hence the challenge of carving them underwater!).:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

My family recently won first place in a school general knowledge quiz fundraiser. My mum and dad were on the team too so credit goes to them as well. We got a trophy, lol! It was a brilliant night and made lots of money.

Have you won any medals or trophys?
I was a very fast runner as a child and won ribbons every year on field day in elementary school.

I won an award for sewing in Jr. High.

I won a watch as a senior for writing an essay about the future of farming in America.

If everyone in your family were to pick their most favorite resturant, which would each person choose, and with what menu items?
I know that Carol likes Taco Bell the best. She usually chooses the crunchwrap.
I currently like Palio's the most. I order the chicken vegetable pizza.

Joe, I don't know, depends on his mood.

My favorite of all time was the strawberry Captain Crunch bars...at least that's what they were called a long long time ago! The closest I can find is a Strawberry SHortcake Ice Cream bar.
Have you tried the Blue Bell strawberry ice cream bars? I saw them in the store the other day.

If you were to get a singing tellagram at work or at home, would you be happy or embarrased?

If you were to preform on stage with a singer, who would that be, and what song would you pick? ***Even though you are not a good singer, just imgaine you were ;).

Celine Dion, Reba McIntyre. Those two just off the top of my head.

Andrea Bocelli, don't think I'd be able to sing--------I'd be too busy listening to him singing:love: but if I did sing it would be ''Time to say goodbye'' Think I could give Sarah Brightman a run for her money:rotfl:

If you were to open a studio that taught something to either kids or adults, what would you be teaching?

I've got such varied taste in music I can't possible pick.

I teach bellydancing to 9-12 year old girls and boys at my daughter's school. I'm hoping to start up an adult class for beginners. I do it for free as I enjoy it and I have to say that what I may lack in expertise I make up for in enthusiasm! :dance3:

I would be teaching proper phone manners, and common courtesy...both of which I find on the decline lately. It's something that I've ingrained in my kids, and I wish other parents would do the same, as I find it's lacking in the new generation that's growing up.

I teach clogging, Canadian step and Irish step dancing. Youngest students has been 3 years old (not count my kids who started stomping around with us as soon as they could walk) through adult.
