If you were to decorate your kitchen with a new theme, what would it be?
I don't know. I've always liked red in my kitchen with some green. I'd put a different backsplash up with small tiles though what I've got is really easy to clean. When we built our house, my husband just had them carry the countertop material up the wall to the cabinets.

I would like it twice as big, and an underwater theme...wait a minute...I've already got the underwater theme. I guess I'll just have to settle for a kitchen double it's current size (it's an old house with a tiny kitchen). Have a great day!

What was the most recent situation that made you smile, and one that made you upset or fustrated?

Yesterday I showed my older son how to make a proper water balloon, and after filling it up properly, took it outside and tossed it at my unsuspecting younger son. Darn...I missed by 4 inches:laughing:  . He still doesn't clue in that water balloons are for throwing. Gotta change that. Safe to say that I'm a B A D influence in the kids. Bought some squirt guns today that I'm going to ambush the kids next week when the weather gets hotter. The thing that has been frustrating me the most is trying to break my addiction to sugar. I'm finally over the worst of the detox, and am feeling alot better because of it, but it can be kind of frustrating at times. Have a great evening!!

What are your favorite breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner foods?

Breakfast
eggs (easy over)
bacon
white toast
hash browns

Lunch
Palio's chicken vegetable pizza
or a hamburger and fries at Sonic

Dinner
the Harvest salad at Cotton Patch Diner
anything that I don't have to cook
or if I have to cook:
spaghetti
cheese nip chicken
taco salad

but a lot of the above I am having to stay off of. I've been have indigestion problems and we are trying to get that under control. Ugh!!

What do you think of cars that have really loud bass pounding music?
One word, annoying. James put a tricked up sound system when he got his truck, thought it was so cool. I always knew when he was almost home because I could hear the boom boom from way down the street. My kitchen cabinet doors would rattle as he drove down the driveway. When he went to college he took out all the big speakers. Now he thinks the boom boom is not cool and realizes why we didn't like it so much.

We have two or three people who live up our road that has their loud music on at weird times of the morning, night, and throughout the day  . I am able to tolerate it if it is during the daytime if no one is sleeping, and I do not have a headache even though I still think it is annoying, but during 5 in the morning, and 11 at night are not times that I would want to be hearing that :sad2: .

huh? what? I CAN'T HEAR YOU......:lmao:

I do not like them at all! They all seem to go down my street and are always caught at the red light. It makes my windows shake and just gets annoying.

Sometimes when I am stopped next to one I am tempted to roll down my window and blast something out my window. (Classical, Disney, Country..something else besides that loud bass thumping! :rolleyes1 )

What's the motivation for them, I wonder? If it was purely for themselves, the windows would be up, right? :goodvibes I swear some of these kids think that we're all dying to be in the car with them. :scared:

Seriously!! I think they want people to look at them or watch our windows rattle as they go by. I can't imagine their hearing is right anymore. My father was partially deaf and he used to turn up the music in our house. He is the only one I knew that could go from Mozart to Metalica in one Saturday. :rotfl2:

Everything I love can be found in a little treat known as a Kitchen Sink :lovestruc

They want people to look at them. And in the case of my son, he thought it was cool, fortunately for a short period of time. They do not realize what an annoyance it is until they grow up.

Mine is a scoop of lime green sherbet on a sugar cone or a coke float.

The Kitchen Sink, that's at the Beach Club, right? I think I have to try that this year!

My favorite of all time was the strawberry Captain Crunch bars...at least that's what they were called a long long time ago! The closest I can find is a Strawberry SHortcake Ice Cream bar.

If everyone in your family were to pick their most favorite resturant, which would each person choose, and with what menu items?
