If you were to be a child of a celebrity couple, which couple would you like to have as a mom, and dad, and why?
Hmm, that's a hard one. Maybe Will Smith and his wife (can't remember her name). They seem like a fairly stable couple. Or what about John Travolta and his wife (once again I can't remember the name). I'm sure that there are others that don't get in the limelight very often that would be good parents.

If you were to have a set of twins-a boy, and a girl what would you name them, and why? Also, where would you like to raise them, and why?
The names Clifford and Valerie just popped into my head. I would not name twins rhyming names or names with the same first letter of the alphabet. I'd raise them here in Rockwall, it's a good place to live. Or maybe a little farther out in the country. While both of my kids like visiting the city, they both prefer country, small town living.

Well, I told off Carol's drill team instructor last night through an e-mail. They are taking the TAKS test this week so she won't she her instructor until Monday. I hope that it doesn't affect how she is treated in class too much next week.

I didn't realize they should really be married! sorry!

that makes it much harder...

Mr and Mrs Bill Gates. :lmao: I'm a computer geek at heart.

Welcome to a new month. Don't forget to change your calendars, and also be sure that your safety stickers on your cars are not expired.

Todays QOTD is-

I don't know what I would name them. It took forever to decide my youngest's name. I would raise them here. With us. Of course.

Then again...I just got back from 3 days at camp with a bunch of 5th graders and I'm not sure I"m thinking clearly! :crazy2:
I remember chaperoning Carol's 5th grade trip at Sky Ranch. We had the best time!

I cannot fathom having more kids!! I already had one set of twins (2 girls) and have four kids total, so 2 more would have me pulling my hair out!! :rotfl2:

I also have no clue what I'd name them since it was hard enough finding names for the four we have, but I do know it wouldn't be anything matching or too cutesy.

As for where to raise them, well, if I could move the whole family anywhere, I'd like to pack up and live in Northern CA. but that will never happen because it's too expensive up there!

If you were to pass down something to your child, niece, nephew....of something that you were the first owner of, what would it be?

I have a stuffed blue donky that I got on the day I was born, exactly 30 years ago today. It has a music box inside and plays "Donkey Seranade."

I don't know. I don't think I really have anything I'd pass down. :confused3 I'm one of those who throws out or gives away everything.

This is a hard one! I can't even say jewelry, since they're boys and wouldn't wear it. Waiting for granddaughters for that. :rotfl2: Maybe the DVC :goodvibes

I don't have anything that I am the first owner of that I would consider passing down to my children.

I think that MySpace is okay but I wouldn't be a member. It's too much work and I can visit with my friends via the telephone or e-mail just as easily. I can also come here too and visit with you which is what I would much rather do.

My space would not be a priority at all for me. Too many wackos out there anymore anyway. (Nicer to be around fellow Disney nuts. We aren't crazy -- much. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2: )

What do you think of My Space? Do you have one?

No, I don't do My Space but my kids do, 3 teenagers. I don't like it, they are on it all the time talking to friends and hopefully that's it. We keep a close eye on what they do online but as parents we can't catch everything. We do have a program that we use to check up on the kids since we have had issues with the Space. Some kids use the space as an area to show off in front of others, and to act tough. Others use it to spam young people, this happen to my oldest son. Plus, others will use their phones and film situations and post them on My Space. We had this happen to my youngest son, he had a situation last fall and it showed up on someones Space and we had to contact the individual in charge of My Space to have it removed. So needless to say I'm not a fan of My Space.

I don't do my space. I do not have need to expose my inner soul to the whole world. My friends know me and that's good enough for me.

What do you think of My Space? Do you have one?

No, I agree with everyone else who said it--not enough time or desire to have one.

DSs don't have any either--and it's not something they'll do any time soon as long as I have a say in computer time. Right now they're still happy with Runescape. :goodvibes

Hi Exchangers. Summer is just a month away for my daughter. I am putting together a art/craft box for her with construction paper, a note book, pens, pencils, coloring pens, crayons, glue, googly eyes,....

Does anyone have ideas on activities that she could do? I have done a bunch of things with her in the past that we will do, but wanted to come up with new ideas.

Any good online websites? Any other projects? She had done a project of sending her koala doll, and stuffed rabbit to different states, and even to Canada with the help of DISers, and other friends, so maybe a neat short project like that.

Any ideas? Maybe a penpal? She is 5 1/2 years old.

Crayola has a good site for crafts, and I'm sure you know about FamilyFun :goodvibes www.dltk-kids.com is another.

I had penpals as a kid--I loved it. I think it's sad that it's died out a bit with email.

My daughter likes dltk kids. I subscribe to Family Fun, and they also have neat ideas. I will have to check Crayola since I haven't gone on that site for a bit. My daughter had two penpals, but they don't keep in touch as much anymore. They usually just send each other things for each others birthday, and for the different holidays.
Thank you for those ideas. :goodvibes
