With our DD's being 4 and 5 this year, we plan on hiding quite a few eggs. I would gues 2 or 3 dozen plastic and 1 doz real.

No egg hiding here either.
I just mail a box of goodies to the kids and it is done.

No, we're not hiding eggs but I know that Carol would enjoy looking for some even though she's 18. I'm putting together her last Easter basket. So sad.....

Her last...that is sad :(
I still make Easter baskets for the kids.
I now use things that can be useful to them for the "baskets". This year they are getting draw string back packs to use on the trip ::yes::

You could hide eggs with money, and gift cards. I'm sure that will bring a smile to anyones face :).

We are having an egg hunt here, but I am not sure how many eggs we will hid yet. I know that it will be over a hundred. I will get back with the numbers after Easter is over.

We are heading to our property on Mayne Island for the Easter long weekend. I have stuffed 60 plastic Easter eggs with chocolate eggs, and will plant them out of hounds reach around our lot on Mayne Island. Rather than Easter baskets this year, found a couple of nice backpacks for the kids, and stuffed them with Easter goodies instead (I tend to run to practical things when it comes to special occasions). Have a great day everyone!

We do an Easter egg hunt with the 5 kids--2 10 yr olds, an 8 yr old, a 6 yr old & a 5 yr old. They're the plastic eggs filled with candy. One of the 10 yr olds is allergic to eggs, so we don't hide those.

I am not sure exactly how many children we will have at our egg hunt, but I wanted to have one or two other activities for them to do-other then riding the ATV, going on the swing set.....

The ages of the kids vary greatly from the youngest to the oldest, so I need to find games or projects that are fun, and fair for all of them. The ages are 2 1/2, 4, 6 1/2, and 9 1/2.

How about for the two older ones you send them on a treasure hunt? Make up clues and let each one take turns reading them. The two younger ones can follow along if they want. At each spot have a little "gift" of sorts. You could put together a map where they have to walk off so many paces, bunny hop so far, climb a tree, maybe dig a little bit to find their treasure, have to figure out clues. I bet they would have a grand old time. It would be a little work on your part but it would be an Easter to remember on theirs.

Thank you for that idea Susan.

not a huge steak person, but when I do eat it dh usually just uses a little bit of whatever wine we have on hand and a few other ingredients that he dosen't tell me...I guess its a secret? :confused3 Lol.

no sauce, I prefer my steak marinaded in soy sauce, Italian dressing and water mix for at least 24 hours.

No sauce, actually I don't like sauces at all.

No gravy's, no cream sauces, prefer no spaghetti sauce too.

I eat my steaks with whatever they were cooked in. Joe likes to add A-1 sometimes with his.

Hi Patsy, Nancy, Missy and everyone!

It's been ages since I've been on the exchange board. I had to take a little vacation from the exchanges if I wanted to remain happily married. :rotfl: I was getting a bit carried away with them, but they are so much fun, it's easy to do.

Anyway, I wanted to stop in and say hello. Nancy, I see you have a tag finally! YAY! How are things with you? Are you settled in AZ now?
BTW, we have dates for our next DIS Ladies Only Disneyland trip. We'll be going back Feb. 25-March 2, 2010. The last one we went on was so fun. I had a blast. Maybe you'll join us sometime.

Or since you are so close to Vegas, maybe you'd like to join another DIS ladies only trip to Vegas we have planned in June. Here is the link if you want to check it out. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1995690
The other day I met up with a DISer and we ate at the same Cheesecake Factory I met you at. In fact, I was telling her about our lunch there and how perhaps the Cheesecake Factory would have to become the official DIS meeting spot. LOL :)

Well, I hope everyone is doing good, and enjoying the exchanges!! Talk to ya'll soon.

Beth

No  still in WA......bad real estate market. Our house here is still for sale and probably will be for a long time still.
We only go to AZ fo short trips for now :( Very hard. DD is living in the house there and taking care of it.

I would love to come on a DIS lady trip....and hopefully will make it sometime.

Oh man. I'm sorry to hear that. I imagine it's very frustrating. :sad2:
I wish I had the money, I'd take it off your hands! I'd love to move to WA.
I hope things work out for you. In the meantime I'm glad you have your DD to take of things in AZ for ya.

If someone were to send you a gift certifcate of $100.00 to use at any online store, which store would you pick?
