I was talking with my sister the other night and she went to a Christmas party and instead of exchanging gifts they exchanged gift cards. Has anyone thought about doing a gift card exchange? I know DIS exchangers live all over, so the gift cards would have to be from large chains, like Bath and Body Works, Disney, etc.
Also, how about a sock exchange. I love some of the designs that are on socks.
I'll post again if I come up with any other ideas.
We have done the sock/keyring exchange for a couple of years. But out host is no longer around....so some one else is welcome to do it.
I am booked until June
Gift cards was mentioned once before, but I don't think anyone followed through with it.

Lisa-dvcfamily mentioned about the gift card exchange, but like mentioned it didn't happen. You could try to contact her and see if she is still interested in it. I know personally, that I don't have that many places in my area that others do, so unless it is a place online, with resonable or free shipping, I couldn't/wouldn't be able to participate.
What I would do on the gift card exchange is have the person signing up list 5 or 6 places that they would like a gift card from.
Then the person sending doesn't have to worry about it being someplace they will be able to use.
