Good morning everyone. Welcome to another month....don't forget to change all of your calendars.

Here is today's QOTD-
*What is your most favorite childhood story, and why?

So I guess yesterdays QOTD was not popular huh :rotfl2: .

Let's see if today's QOTD will bring in more answers :lmao: .
If you were to recieve three different types of Disney trading pins, what type do you hope to recieve? And which three types do you hope not to recieve?

Patsy, I couldn't get on yesterday morning and by late morning I was at my aunts, no computer.

But I don't think I can answer the question anyway. Let me think on it.

Well of course I would hope to get at least 1 Pooh, but it really doesn't matter because I collect all Disney Pins.
There aren't any that I wouldn't want.

My favorite story would probably be Winken, Blinken and Nod. I loved that one!

Pins...3 I'd like: any Chip and Dale, any Pluto, Mickey as a chef

3 I'd not like: Hmm..Princesses (not my thing), Lion King characters, villian ones

I love park attraction pins ::yes::
I would like the new Nemo ride one (both WDW and DLR)
Also any pins from the parks not in the USA

I don't care for pins with Pooh :duck: , and ones based on Disney TV shows (like Kim Possible)

I would love park attraction pins also or any lanyard only ones.

Would not like Jessica Rabbit (even though those go for big $$ on ebay). Pretty much any other pin for me would be okay. BUT don't go giving my littlest a Stitch pin. I have no idea why he hates them so much. Our first pin trade was for a big Stitch riding his toy spaceship and it moved. I thought it was so cool, but he couldn't wait to trade it back out. We ended up with a the little yellow safari pin and he was sooo happy. :confused3

Yesterday's QOTD I didn't know if you meant our personal stories or one we read.

I have cut way back on my Disney pin buying and am patting myself on the back! :cool1: :lmao: I still buy. But I don't buy traders like i use to. Disney has us pin people who have been around awhile to buy in quantity. :rotfl2: Why buy one when four will do? :rotfl:
Jessica is one of the few characters I specifically collect. I learned long ago not to try to buy all of them just because it was a set or series. I only buy what I like. And I don't pay an arm and a leg. What goes for high dollar now may be worth $4 tomorrow.
I am not a Pooh person either. Or a princess person. Never have watched Kim Possible or Chicken Little. Neither one would do anything for me. Watched the Robinsons (only because it was in 3D). Those pins would not do anything for me either.
The great part about pin collecting is if you get a pin you don't like -- you just trade it for something you do.
I like mostly inanimate objects. :confused3 Buildings, rides, attractions, restaurants, etc. And I have a soft spot for collecting WD Travel Co pins. ;) But always have anyway, as I also collect travel and transportation pins.
Not many pins I don't like. But there are some that just don't do anything for me.

Sorry, stories that you read as a child and enjoyed.

Pins that I would like to recieve-
*Winnie the Pooh and Friends pins
*Mickey Mouse
*

Wouldn't want to recieve-
*Attraction pins
*Villians

-I would like any of them, and like mentioned, you can always trade ones that you don't like or don't care for.

I wish buying from ebay was much safer knowing that you will get pins that are tradeable in the parks since I do want to do more trading, and adding them onto our landyards.

I don't have too many pins..we started one year, thinking that the boys would have fun trading, but we didn't want to trade any that we bought!

I like ones with the classic characters on them, more than the newer shows. My favorite is a white sheet ghost with mickey ears I got one Oct. when I didn't know where to get the MNSSHP ones! This year I'll do better!

If you were to go fruit picking, what type of fruit would you like to pick? And, what would you like to do with it? Eat it as is, make jams/jellies, pies....?

Strawberries. Mostly we would eat them as is....nothing like real strawberries, the ones in stores these days are too generic.

Bobbi:goodvibes

We grow our own strawberries right in my yard so if I were to "go" pick fruit it would be apples. My kids love apple picking! I'd let them eat some whole the rest I'd use for pies, cookies and applesauce.
