I like grilled vegetable kabobs, chicken, hamburgers, steak. Things on a grill taste better.

If nobody else wants to volunteer, I can do the T-shirt one.
You are welcome to do it. If you have any questions about it, just ask.

What sort of things do you like to grill, and do you have any recipes to share?
Joe does all the grilling so no recipes here. He doesn't use them. He's one of those kind of people. I have to use recipes.

But we grill hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, pork chops, steak..... We have a gas grill and a charcoal one. It depends on his mood which one he uses. And he also has an electric smoker which he uses for chicken, ribs, turkey, brisket...... We rarely cook inside on the weekends.

Kirby, if you could PM the questions to ask or info to impart to participants, that would be aweseome.

We no longer have a grill, been six years with out it. But when we had one, my favorite thing to grill was NY strips, with just butter & black pepper. Mmmm.

I've been know to grill anything and everything!! One of my favorite things to use is Italian dressing. I buy the seasoning packets (dry). I add a little oil and water - no vinegar. Then I put it in a ziploc baggie with boneless pork chops and set it in the fridge to marinate for an hour or so..could be less but at least 30 mins. Then I throw them on a hot grill, after they are all on the grill I turn the grill done to low and cook. They are so yummy!!! Even my "I hate pork" teenage daughter loves this!

I used a bottled Teriyaki Marinade the other day on chicken, and all 3 DSs scarfed it down! THat doesn't happen too often.

I make a marinade for flank steak and grill it. I'll post it this afternoon. It's easy tho.

:offtopic: I know there used to be a thread where the exchangers listed their favorites, etc. I was wondering if that was still around, or if we could start a new one. I thought it would be helpful when buying for an exchange.

I just copied and pasted them all. Last page (45) on my find all exchange links here thread. Of course there are some there that don't do exchanges anymore, and then the new exchangers are not there.

Thanks Heidi!

I tried to search, but it wasn't working.

Oh, all this talk of grilling makes my mouth water! We both love the taste of grilled food. DH has been traveling...too much, (except for the hotel points and frequent flyer miles:) ) and so, for just myself, I don't go through the bother. Today, just grilled/toasted cheese sandwich with some veggies for my "main" meal.

What is the first three things that come to mind when you think of the word.........SPRING?

was going to answer the question qotd but can't get past my first "thing": The Spring Spring Spring musical number from 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, lol!:rolleyes1

Household tip: Not household, but personal care tip: If you run out of shaving cream, but need to shave your legs in a pinch... use hair conditioner. It works better than most shaving creams and leaves your legs touchably soft. Mmmm Lovely! Trust me... use suave on your legs, and you'll not go back to the stuff in the can.

I love the movie Seven Brides for Seven Brothers!

I'll have to tell my daughter about the shaving tip. She's always complaining about razor burn.

Sorry I forgot.

Household Tip: Mayo really does get rid of rings on a wood table. Vinegar cleans windows better then Windex.

Recipe: Tator-tot Casserole

1 bag of tator-tots
1 pound ground chuck or round
1/3 cup chopped onion
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Salt and Pepper

Mix meat, onions, salt and pepper.
Press into an ungreased 8x8 pan.
Cover mixture with the soup.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese over soup.
Cover all with tator-tots.
Bake uncovered at 350º for 1 hour.

Note: Can subsuite with cream of chicken soup.
Not really a QOTD, but here is the topic of the day-

Share a recipe or a household tip.
