How can I be an exchanger?:)

Check to see what exchanges are up for sign ups. Read the requirements and send in your info. to the organizer via a pm. At the ending of the sign up date, you will be given someone's info. and you will send them an exchange, and you will recieve one as well.
Look at the top of the exchange thread where there is the list of upcoming exchanges to get an idea of what is coming up....there are also exchanges that happen that are not listed, so just keep checking back from time to time to see what is going on.

I see a whole new exchange coming to this board ;)

Heidi will send my DH snow
Kirby will send me sunny 75 weather
I will send Patsy snap dragons
Mariweather can send everyone tulips
O.K. anyone else need to exchange :rotfl:

JC

I will send some homemade babyfood since that is what I seem to be making everyday or every other day :lmao: .

If it taste better then the stuff they sell in the stores, I'll take some. I come from a family that likes baby food once in a while, but over the years it has gotten pretty awful.

I have not tried the baby food that we give to our soon, but he seems to like it.

Scrapple is well,....I don't think you want to know...but it is pork. Around here, I think something like that is called "getta." I had some at a buffet once, I thought it was sausage patties broken up.

I could do without scrapple, but an East coast food item that we both like is Pork Roll! I always try to bring some back when I come home from NJ.

Yes, and I also love tulips!!! I put many in when we moved here 13 years ago, and they are getting fewer and fewer, and I always forget about planting some more every fall! Shucks!

Bobbi:goodvibes

I heard about scrapple before now that I think of it, and I'll pass on that-it seems more like a Fear Factor food dish.

From Wikipedia:
Scrapple is typically made of hog offal, such as the head, particularly the heart, liver, and other scraps, which are boiled with any bones attached (often the entire head), to make a broth. Once cooked, bones and fat are discarded, the meat is reserved, and (dry) cornmeal is boiled in the broth to make a mush. The meat, finely minced, is returned, and seasonings, typically sage, thyme, savory, and others, are added. The mush is cast into loaves, and allowed to cool thoroughly until gelled. The proportions and seasoning are very much a matter of the region and the cook's taste.

I wouldn't touch scrapple with a ten foot pole.

Now, I could send some Florida heat (82 today) and a crate full of oranges -- right from my trees in the backyard!

no scrapple for me either

heat is good....but I am heading to it in a few days :sunny: Can't wait!

Yum Florida oranges.
We have oranges on our tree as well, but they are juice oranges.

On our last trip to WDW, we stopped at an orange grove on our way out and picked oranges. We had so much fun!

Okay.....who sent us snow
We just got 6" in about 2 1/2 hours.....I still have errands to do before our trip.
Send some snow-go away pixie dust this way so I can get out and down the hill tomorrow.

It wasn't me.
I hope the snow melts away in time for you to do your errands.

It snowed here almost all day too but very little accumulation so far. Now the roads are all iced up since the sun went down :headache:

Oh definitely! Actually, I am stuck at home- had some minor surgery yesterday and am not supposed to drive for a couple of days because the seatbelts cut right across the stitches. However, my husband is out driving in it. He said he was going to pick up some rental skis after work tonight and he still is not home yet :sad2:

Hope your husband gets home soon and safely.
Will he be able to ski by your house?
Take care of yourself.

DH is in CO...he called driving in it also. Haven't heard from him since.
Maybe they found each other somewhere and are at a bar or something :rotfl:
This is very late for us to be getting snow.....we get very little of it usually anyway. :(
