Heidi, I may be wrong, but it sounds like you are going through something with your Mom that I have been through with mine - sending good thoughts your way. Remember the first aid rule - you have to take care of yourself before you can take care of anyone else.

I just found this thread. Had fun reading it. Roxy your dog is adorable. I did my shopping yesterday for the sock/keychain exchange. Today, I actually stayed home and cleaned, and made homemade spagetti primavira. I just cleaned out my fridge, chopping up alot of veggies and putting them in some ragu. My dh and ds and our dog have been gone fishing for the last week and a half, staying at our camper in Door Co. Wisc with my parents. It was the first time I have been home alone for so long. Glad to have them home. It's our 30th wedding anniversary tomorrow. But we both work late all week. Then this weekend we have our niece's wedding. Oh well, we will celebrate next week.

We ate a lot too. We cooked hamburgers for my DH and my Son and fish and shrimp for us, DH ate fish too. We grilled everything and sat outside, thank god no rain or thunderstorms for a change.

Kathy, hope you have a Happy Anniversary tomorrow :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: .

I gained the most weight with this baby then with my others.

I hope the last of the Keep Me Cool Exchange, and the Locally Made Exchange finds its way over to its new owners soon.

Hi Carrie! :wave: Are you getting excited for POP? {Silly question, of course you are!}
I am getting very excited. The one in August is coming up fast. It will be Stacey, myself and my friend Bonnie. Also another friend of ours, her DH and her DD-11. The last three have never been there so it will be great.

We went shopping too. We got groceries and I went to michael's to get some supplies for my swaps, they had lots of things on sale, and I probably go back ALONE! LOL! I cannot shop like I want with DH and the kids :)

We also got the rest of the stuff for the sock exchange and some school supplies.

We just went to Door Co last month for the first time and LOVE, LOVED it! Which campground do you keep your camper at? There's another DISer who spend a lot of time up there. He gave lots of good advice. We're thinking of going back this fall without the kids.

I bet you're missing everyone but having that kind of break sounds nice too! Happy Anniversary!

Ohhh newbies :) Always fun taking a newbie. ::yes::
My mom and a cousin are going with us in December and this will be their first time too. Can't wait. :banana:

Thank you, Our camper is actually in Algoma, Wisc. just south of door co in the Big Lake campground. My dh keeps his fishing boat at the marina there. My parents usally come and stay for the month of July there. I was there for a week and half over the 4th. It is beautiful there. It works out great too, the guys go fishing and the woman go shopping. We playn alot of cards too. We are movie nuts too. We have 3 tv's in our camper. My ds plays his video games on one. I'm not much for roughing it. Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning, exchangers!! :sunny:
Looks like another hot one is in store for today.
