The DVR is set to catch every minute of the QVC Christmas in July. I am out of town, so I cannot see it until Thursday. I rarely buy anything, but I love to see the new stuff for this year.

I bought a Christmas gift last night which I think is really neat, as well as more gifts this morning :cutie: .

Well normaly I never order but I just caved and bought something I thought would be so fun.

http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/app.detail/walk.yah.0000 link not working I don't think so here is the item number.. Item Number H05950

You can BLOW OUT your Christmas Tree. Ethan will LOVE this. I can't wait to let him do it. No getting behind the tree to unplug it..just blow it out..:rotfl: Well, I HOPE it really works and lasts for a while. I am looking forward to getting to try it out.

So today we listened to a little christmas music, baked some sausage balls and watched QVC..lol Tomorrow, back to normal! ;)

That sounds like fun Amanda. I had caved in and bought another item. A total of 6 items from QVC's Christmas in July, and I bought another set of presents from another website today :). I took care of some hard to buy people. :)

For today's QOTD, you will have to do some online searching and posting. Go to www.hallmark.com. There you will find a bunch of different Disney ornaments, post a picture of the one you like the most.

I personally :cloud9:  this set. I just wish we had a Hallmark store here instead of 2 1/2 hours away so that I could get this. Maybe I can get my husband to come with me one day before Christmas :rolleyes1 to the store :coffee: I hope.

I think you can order them online and have them shipped to you. I know they're not available until October but they can be ordered ahead of time.

When you were a child, what was your favorite book and why did you like it so much?

Hope everyone has a great weekend. :goodvibes

I don't remember from when I was real young, but once I hit middle school, I liked the Nancy Drew series.

I loved the Trixie Belden Books (Upstate NY answer to Nancy Drew) but then I read The Count of Monte Cristo and that has been a book I re-read every year.

When I was reading myself, Nancy Drew...they're all still up in my dad's attic. I thought I'd give them to my DD...until they were all DSs! Maybe a GD some day.

But when I was really young, I used to beg my grandfather to read me The Elephant's Child over and over and over.....and he was a wonderful man who would.

Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, Encyclopedia Brown, Homer Pyle, Miss Pickeral, and many others. Was a reader, still am.

Younger Charlotte's Web, Dr, Seuss.

Ann likes Red, We were Tired of Living in a House, Tell Me a Trudy - all books I loved to have read aloud to me. I still have all of them and read them to my kids every now and then. It's funny even though my kids are 15,12, and 9 they all still love for me to read aloud. I do tend to be a bit dramatic when I read:rotfl:
