I have a friend who is terrified of bridges, panics at the thought of being on one, let alone actually going over one. Do you have anything that you are absolutely terrified of?

Centipedes.

And to another extent spiders.

But centipedes scare the daylights out of me. My first apartment... they'd crawl up the drain in my tub and then escape to terrorize me!

There is a bridge over the Hudson River in the Catskills in NY state. It terrifies me.

But centipedes scare the daylights out of me. My first apartment... they'd crawl up the drain in my tub and then escape to terrorize me!

Oh my gosh!!!! We had a centipede crawl out of our drain the other day and it freaked my daughter out!!! It was soooo gross!!!

DCL WBPC cruise last year. It was with my DH my DSis & her Honey. He is undergoing a serious operation next week....we had to cancel this year's cruise together.

What was your best vacation ever?

I went to Scotland for two weeks in 2009. It was a wonderful vacation, filled with lots of things to do and see!

Around our area it is almost Girl Scout cookie time. Do you guys have Girl Scouts in your area? Do you buy GS cookies?

We have Girl Guides, which is basically the same thing. I bought cookies last fall, when the mint ones were for sale.

Anyone have big plans for Valentine's Day?

My BF and I plan on having steak, baby potatoes, and asparagus for dinner with a delectable pecan chocolate chip pie for dessert. The plan is that his ex-wife take his son for a few hours, so we have some time to ourselves, to exchange gifts and maybe watch a movie.

We do buy Girl Scout cookies. I like the thin mints, DH likes the coconut chocolate ones.
We'll celebrate Valentines day with a nice meal.

I have a coin collection, a pressed penny collection, a shell collection, a horse figurine collection, 101 Dalmatians collection...

What was your best vacation ever?
The best one that comes to mind is Cancun 2005. Just DH and I, no kids. Took bus to beach every day with the locals. Ate refried beans in a McDonald's for breakfast one day. Snorkled and fresh fish and turtle farm... And did I mention, no kids? Love them buggars, but they can be a conversation hog.

Yes, we have Girl Scouts and I always buy them. I try to buy the ones I don't really like, so I won't eat the whole box.

DH is working on his dissertation (defends in less than 6 weeks!!), so I'll be spending my Valentine's Day with the littles. Planning to go bowling or ice skating and we'll probably watch the last two Harry Potter movies with a bunch of buttered popcorn.

Not really. Unless dust and dirty dishes count. Seems not matter how often we clean, those things are ever present!
