If you mean a govt census I believe we have.
If it refers to birds then no. I'm not sure how many birds I can name by sight we live on the wetlands so we have quite a few i can ID but many I still can't. (If that makes any sense. Lol)

I probably can identify some....not sure how many, but birds don't really interest me much.....except I love the birds of prey

 Hi Susan nice to see you here!
Hi Patsy! Your kiddos are growing up!

Yes and I hate it.

Hi Susan, its good to hear from you, hope you are doing well. :)
Thanks! I'm doing pretty good.

Hi, Kirby!

Today's chat is about Bird Watching. Have you ever participated in a census? Can you identify 10, 20 or more birds by sight?
:wave2: I enjoy watching birds. I have a bird feeder outside my kitchen window. A hawk comes by every now and then for a meal. I've never participated in a bird census and not sure how many that I can actually name.

I was referring to a bird census, I did participate in one for Ohio one year. Until then, I did not know bird censuses were taken.

I have a friend who can identify many birds by their call.

One year, I was given a "lifetime bird spotting" book, but i do not regularly use it!

I can name a few, never asked to do a bird census. My favorite bird is the Bald Eagle.

I like the idea of a book club, but I tried one once and didn't enjoy it. The library once had a one time discussion of a controversial book, and it did enjoy that discussion. Do you belong to a book club?

No, I do not belong to a book club.
However, I do read a lot. I just don't like the idea of having to read something someone told me to. I kind of just go with what I've got on hand, or what interests me.

no book club.
I love to read, but as stated by Kogo, I don't want to be told what to read...........and I don't really want to sit around and discuss it

My husband thinks part of the reason I'm not feeling well, is that we're getting ready to put our house on the market, and we have to unclutter our things. We have moved and do not live in our "native" NJ, but I still feel the tug. Do you live in your growing up hometown?

No, but I live within 40 miles of my hometown.

I have never participated in a census. I think I can identify 10 birds maybe even 15.

No, I have never participated in a book club

No have never participated in a book club. I don't mind discussing and analyzing what I've read but it seems like a chore to have to read something I might not be interested in or having to do it by a certain timeframe. Not enough time in my day.

Never participated in a book club. I only have interest in a few types of books and also would not want to be told what to read.

I have never participated in a census. Never knew there was one. I think I could name a bit more then 10 types of birds.

I have never participated in a book club. Not a book reader.

When you are at the airport waiting for your flight, what do you usually do? Do you just sit, and wait for the plane, go into the airport restaurant/lounge, ......?

No to the book club.

Our flights are always early in the morning so we grab a bite to eat and something to drink, once done then we go over and sit and wait for the plane.

Go right to the gate, get seats and then look at the time to see if it's possible to send 1 person (usually DH) to go get food and drinks

get food and water and then read or play games on my Kindle....people watch too

If I have time, I'll grab a bite to eat, but then I usually stick to the gate, waiting for my flight while reading, watching TV on my computer, or playing video games.

I've been in a book club for two years. We're an easy, laid back group that picks the books together and if someone doesn't want to read a book they don't. Some books have been good and some real stinkers. In fact, the more bad the book the more interesting the discussion. Go figure! And sometimes we end up talking more to each other about our lives and other books we have read than discussing the book of the month.

I don't like to fly but the few times I have I either watch the planes or people watch. Maybe walk around the stores if there is time. And keep my Xanex handy.

I go on my phone, sometimes look in the store, and buy a drink for my son that is usually thirsty.
