If you were to go into an ice cream parlor, and were to order a fancy ice cream treat, an ice cream soda..... what would you choose to order?

My first choice would be a scoop of lime sherbet on a waffle cone. Or maybe a Coke float.

What was something an adult told you as a child that you didn't think anything about then, but as an adult now makes you agree with what they were telling you?

I dunno.... that's a tuffy. Esp since when I was a kid I already knew everything dontcha know! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I always hated my mom telling me "because I said so" when I was little and I swore I would never say it to my kids! Boy have I eaten my words!!!!:rotfl2:

Another new month, and the last of the year. Happy to have Christmas approaching, but this also means a month closer to my son going to school.

:sad1:

Today's QOTD is-
Share with me a funny Christmas joke or riddle that I can tell my 8 year old daughter.

I sometimes like to add a note, joke....into her lunchbag just to make it fun, and sometimes for her friends as well. They seem to enjoy it.

Aleks put this one in her card I believe:

Q: What do you get when you mix a vampire and a snowman?

A: Frostbite! :lmao:

What is your most special Christmas ornament that you currently own, or had? And why is it special to you?

I would have to say my most special ornament is the angels that my aunt made or the little angels my dad bought. :santa:

Well, they would probably be ones that James and Carol made when they were in elementary school. They're not really ornaments but we put them on the tree. James' is a paper teddy bear that has cotton balls for stuffing. Carol's is a reindeer face. The face is her footprint and the antlers are her hands.

In the stores, there are many holiday limited edition items such as cookies, and ice cream. Do you have a favorite that you look forward to eatting or trying each Christmas?

There's a candy that comes out only at Christmas. I don't know that name but it's made by Brachs and is a soft peppermint chew.

i LOVE the winter candy cane oreos, peppermint stick ice cream, almond crescent cookies ( i think you can get this year round but theyre more common around the holidays) and peppermint ice from fanny mae, yum!!

Our family enjoys this cake that is made in another country. I can't remember what it is called, but Costco is not carrying it this year :(.

Tonight, we are attending Christmas Craft Night at my daughter's school. So today's QOTD is-

Do you do any Christmas crafts with your kids, or grandkids. Or have you when your kids were younger?
