Hello all! I've been away for the last week. My mom had a hip revision and is now in rehab. I have a few things to catch up on so I'll just do what shows up in the reply posts. But first I want to say "hello" to Evita. Don't be a stranger!

What are your plans for Memorial Day?

I spent the day split between taking care of my dad and being with my mom in the hospital.

It's so sad that I can't remember at the moment.

She is going to see the Shrek 3D movie on Friday. Has anyone seen it? She also wants to see Marmaduke.

I think that I'll just get both on Netflix. The last movie I went to see was Avatar. I hope to see Eclipse and the new HP movie in the theater.

When does your kids start the new school year?

In August sometime but they're in college.

What do you think of the SMART car?

Too small for me, or that is too small for Joe. He's 6'4".

I had seen a SMART car for the first time here a couple of days ago, and it is so small and cute. But, it is even too small for me. I would worry more about the safety of it. The car would not have a chance in an accident, and the passangers might not either if it had gotten hit by a big vehicle.

I see them all the time where I live. I wouldn't wanted to be splatted in an accident though. I'll never forget the time in Feb, when we saw on the side of the road a Austin Mini that had been rear ended by a VW Bug (an original one, not the new version of it). Can you can say Splat??

If you were to get a new car, what would your top three colors be?

My top 3 would be: Forest Green, Chryslers Candy Apple Red, or the colour of my 69 Buick Skylark, Crystal Blue.

If I am sick I like... Mac and Cheese, Beef and Barley Soup, and Grilled Cheese...

Actually...my DH's name is CHRIS...Wade is our last name...

And, he is GREAT!!! Busy busy as usual...and planning, planning our next Disney VACATION!! Between work and fun he is behind the computer ALOT!!

So good to be around here again! At least for the summer...when my life is a little less hectic..

If you were to get a new car, what would your top three colors be?

Probably white. Most of my cars have been that color just because that is what was there. I honestly don't know what other color I would want.

If you were sick, what three foods/drinks do you prefer?

Sprite, toast with butter/margarine or saltine crackers with cheese.

New car: I am getting a new car this year, a silver sports car. My other colour would be black and blue.

When I am sick I would choose: toast with butter, chicken soup or lucozade to drink
