Hello-

We will be staying at OKW in May. Recently, I read a thread here about someone stating they were able to purchase their annual passes at OKW. I know someone asked if you could also exchange annual pass vouchers for the actual passes at OKW but never saw the answer and couldn't find it through search. Does anyone know if this exchange is possible?

Thanks,

We purchased our APs at OKW in January of this year (2011). The only advantage of doing it was that the APs are on the blue plastic cards. We did our APs separate from our room keys to make it easier to use them on subsequent trips. We didn't use a voucher to pay for them, but I don't see why you couldn't do that. They did give us the DVC discount, and it was easy to do.

Good to know! I plan on ordering my AP in June (or at least before the annual price increase in August) and it would be so much easier to get the pass at the resort. Our trip isn't until October so we will definitely buy them in advance.

I just renewed ours 2 days ago - got a confirmation number, and was told to go to Will Call at guest relations - does anyone know if I can use this number at the resort? We will be at BLT.

My husband really likes the idea of having the hard plastic cards instead of the paper-style ones. Personally I think that I will miss the element of surprise in seeing what character I get. When we bought our last ones - the CM gave me Mickey and my husband Minnie - my husband insists that she must have intended for it to be the other way around, but I think that it was cute the way she did it:)

If the resorts can now sell APs (and it sounds like they now have access to the AP ticketing system), then yes, you can use your will call number at the resort to get your AP or PAP.

If BLT doesn't have the ability yet, then you are only a few steps away (maybe 10 minute walk) from the Guest Relations windows at the MK. It will take you 5 to get to the CR front desk from BLT.

My post above is incorrect. Perhaps a future enhancement will make it correct, lol.

Here is a post by Cheshire Figment with the correct information:

Anything related to Park tickets can be done at any of the following locations:

Any Park (including Water Parks) ticket booth. This includes the TTC.

Any Guest Relations Office (GRO) outside the parks. This includes the Water Parks, TTC and DTD.

Any GRO inside the Parks.

Guest Services/Concierge in the Resorts; however they cannot do anything related to Annual Passes other than sell a brand new pass (no upgrades, renewals, or MPP).

This includes "will-call", upgrading any tickets, replacing any tickets, converting an AP
voucher to an AP, or selling an AP.

Anything that can be done related to tickets at a GRO can also be done at a regular ticket window. The ticket windows cannot do things such as make reservations, unscramble problems related to room keys, or handle Lost and Found or Guest Recovery.

At each Park there will always be at least one ticket window and one outside Guest Relations Office open at least 30 minutes prior to the first Guest being allowed into the Park. This takes into consideration both Morning EMH as well as any pre-opening restaurant reservations. Also, the Guest Relations Office will be open for at least 30 minutes after scheduled Park closing (and this takes into account both Evening EMH as well as any after-hours parties).
